Don't get me wrong she seems like a lovely lady and does have some useful tips but AIBU to think she cleans alot and often. As a single mum I don't hardly have anytime during the day to do this amount of cleaning! Now it's making me feel bad that I don't clean this much 😂

Never heard about this woman before this thread but I think I'll pass for the chemical mixing alone and stick with TOMM. Not entirely certain of the appeal of this lady as she doesn't seem to be doing much beyond pushing various products and companies (without declaring that) but I've never understood influencers anyway.

She is not an influencer as she has bought most of her followers.

I suspect that's true, but she's making herself out to be one and has apparently got some genuine followers so she should take some responsibility.

Is no one responsible for their own actions anymore? Stating the importance of the manufacturer instructions should be enough, if people arent comfortable going against them then they don't have to. Are we in a world where we have to rely on "influencers" to tell us how to live and what they say is gospel.

Her following has grown so fast so soon but I think it's a bold statement to say she's purchased her followers - It seems pretty organic to me. There's talk all over instagram, all over Facebook, in groups with 1000s of people, there's PR articles, she's mentioned by brands which have 1000s of followers.

I bet my next 3 months wages that she bought a huge proportion of followers.
If you scroll down her list, you come across lots with no profile pic, and when you click on them they are following 5 or less accounts and have no posts.
It stands out a mile

Also, I doubt its organic. Her account is npt entertaining at all. Grey hob, grey sink and the cupboard. Thats it.

Even her dog has 11k followers Shock...at least the dog isn't white or grey and has a bit of colour.

She’s gained almost 20k followers in 24 hours. Unless 20k MNers are obsessed with grey, I doubt that it’s organic also.

I've just looked her up and that's got to be the worst Instagram account I've ever seen!! It's got to be a spoof!!

I also feel they aren't organic followers. I feel the reason she keeps posting things from some of her followers to try look more legit. Whereas I bet about half of them are brought

She is talked about all the time on facebook. Zoflora addicts has 60+k members and there are daily posts about her. All it takes is a large proportion of those people to show their friends/families/followers and so on and so on, that's just one group.
There are plenty of people also within that group that didn't have Instagram and have said they got it just so they could follow her, maybe they're the blanks who are following only 5 people? You can't just assume that no one can be that successful and they must have paid their way to get there?
Brand marketing and pr teams are pretty switched onto this whole buying followers scam and they can run checks against account followers so I really don't think they would invest time into her if that was the case.
She has the engagement on posts to match, if she had all these followers and her pics were still only getting 50 likes and a comment then sure I get it.
And Jules it may not be interesting to you but to other people it obviously is and they enjoy watching her and it has given them a kick up the bum and they feel better about it. If you're not one of those people that's fine too. It's not just a feed that people follow for, it's stories, engagement, etc.

What amazes me is the amount of people buying simple cleaning cloths and products that they seem to have never heard of until watching her. Which makes me think these people never clean? I don't get it, they're all amazed by microfibre cloths as if they're a new invention.

I'm not Mrs Hinch 😂 that'd be a plot twist!

I'm more passionate about trying to open people's eyes as to how words can hurt and make them think whether they'd say the same as they do on the internet where you can't see a reaction and you don't have to think about how it affects someone in a face to face conversation with some one. It's something close to my heart for a good reason.

I know I'm not going to change the world but if I can maybe make a couple of people think about how they say something then I'd be happy with that.

Also think it's kind of unfair how people are jumping to conclusions about someone they don't know.

Just watched the bathroom clean Shock
Blood and a toilet disc and bleach
About 1/4 of a big bottle of flash for the bath and 20+ sprays of flash in the sink

I wiped my sink down last night with some shampoo I don't use, and the bath with the same. Toilet got a spray of zoflora diluted. That's it. How much cleaning stuff do you need?!

Nope ... but I am Mrs Hinch. So hello everyone! I can honestly say as a 28 year old woman , who has simply worked so hard to buy a home , enjoys cleaning and motivating others I am in absolute shock that I have been torn apart by some of you and left to feel this way. Unfortunately I do not have children however my home is full of love and kindness. This may sound pathetic and silly but I was so shocked by some of the comments on this thread I simply showed my mum of all people to ask her opinion and she too was so disgusted that mature women who are mothers themselves can act this way. How nasty can some people be. Luckily I have 109,000 people who do support me and are amazing , and may I add not ONE of those followers have been “bought”! So all the best! Mrs Hinch

Instagram followers do not represent a persons value. If you enjoy it, great but bigger isnt always better.

I agree that not everyone is going to like me or my home. Everyone is most certainly entitled to their opinion, however there is no need to be nasty and spiteful. I am still a human being with feelings just like anyone else. I haven’t been nasty, some of the comments are just cruel. If people don’t like me they don’t have to follow me. My mum brought be up to not say something if I haven’t got anything nice to say. This is all I’ll be commenting on the matter. If people don’t like me, they shouldn’t be wasting their time talking about me. Time is precious. All the best xx

mrshinchhome my OP wasn't nasty it just said you cleaned alot and that I felt bad I didn't clean that much. I also said you seemed lovely. It's my opinion and having over 100K followers and putting yourself out there on social media you should prepare for opinions good and bad. That's the way the world is. So sorry if this has upset you but I weren't really being that nasty in my opinion
