To think Dawson should back the fuck off and let Joey and Pacey get on with it?

I know there was a Dawson's Creek thread a little while back but I think this warrants its own rant. I'm watching on 4od, never got this far back in the day so am struggling to see it from an angsty teenage perspective, but have just seen the one where he finds out they've been snogging, and I just want to give him a good slapping. Sort yourself out lad! You split up over a year ago! And hardly because she broke his heart and waltzed off, he shopped her fucking dad to the police! He's a sanctimonious little dick!!

I'm rewatching while cleaning today because of this thread! Dawson recording kissing Jen without her knowing when they're at the Greek ruins. Shock and then arguing his intentions are good. Ffs what a cock.

The Eve thing was weird. They never went anywhere with it after the big thanksgiving reveal. I remember she was mentioned again towards the end of series 6 but it was just in passing. Jen never met once she knew who she was.

Loving this thread! And I agree with those of you about the supermarket episode: is probably my absolute favourite. Or the one where they go to the cabin and Pacey and Joey have their first kiss. "How did it make you feel... it made me feel alive!" And then he tells her he's going to kiss her.. swoon. Have some serious love for Pacey: people have commented that DH has a touch of Pacey about him Wink

I'm going on maternity leave in a few months and this is going to have to crack open the box sets!

The whole Eve storyline was total shit apart from one moment when she made some scathing Sweet Valley High reference - she was the actress who played the twins in SVH wasn't she? Dawson's Creek is well meta at times Grin

Eww yeah, and she’s totally into him even though he’s a scruffy teenage boy at that point. It was written like some 16 year olds wank fantasy!

Yes Eve was one of the twins from SWH. I think the other one gave up acting. Thanks, I’ve got that theme tune stuck in my head now. Wonder if I can watch the show anywhere... Grin

Question for the serious fans: at the end of the episode where they try to tell Dawson and he ends up having a serious hissy fit outside his house, Pacey is sitting at the end of a jetty and tells Joey to walk off first. She looks back and he is gone, and she is standing on the jetty alone. Where did he go? Did he roll off into the water?

My favourite episode is most definitely the last one of season 3, with the wall. Also have a fondness for the one where Pacey picks Joey up from her boyfriend's and he kisses her (although that scene probably wouldn't go down very well now that we are more considerate of consent Blush), the episode at the the aunt's house and the episode where Dawson finds out as the same story plays out from each person's perspective, loved that one. Think it's called The Longest Day.

Yes iirc Pacey disappeared into True Love on the dockside.

I think series three from the episode with the b&b critic onwards was the best of the whole thing. Pacey and Joey had such amazing chemistry. I do really like the episode where he picks her up from the train station and the one following that as well.

Quite like the senior prank episode from series four though and the supermarket one that a few of you have mentioned!

I hadn't looked at The Affair before reading about it here as the theme doesn't interest me, but JJ is very attractive in the clips I have now watched. I might give it a go after all!
