I know there was a Dawson's Creek thread a little while back but I think this warrants its own rant. I'm watching on 4od, never got this far back in the day so am struggling to see it from an angsty teenage perspective, but have just seen the one where he finds out they've been snogging, and I just want to give him a good slapping. Sort yourself out lad! You split up over a year ago! And hardly because she broke his heart and waltzed off, he shopped her fucking dad to the police! He's a sanctimonious little dick!!

I also thought it was ridiculous that they didn’t shag on the boat. They were hormonal teenagers alone for months and they just read stories to each other. Come on.

The stripper stuff is the weirdest storyline on the show. Eve is the most 90s looking woman ever with that awful mum haircut and those strappy vest tops.

Whispers, he is lovely in real life. Laid back, funny and my DDs loved him. DH grew up in the US and his closest friend is an actor. I’m happy being around him and his family are some of my closest friends and they’re much more well known than JJ. I think it’s just because I was such a Pacey and Joey fan back in the day .

There was a great episode in season 3 when someone compares Dawson and Pacey to Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.. In theory Luke is the 'better'", one but Han gets the girls cos he's a bad boy. Also love how Katie Holmes learnt to sing between season 1 (beauty contest anyone 🙄) and season 5 with the uni band. I only have the finale on dvd now but watch it every now and then.

I hated Dawson right from the beginning, I never saw what Joey saw in him at all.

That said, JVDB has certainly aged well, I watched him a few years ago in a show called Don’t Trust the Bitch at Apartment 23, where he plays a parodied version of himself, and he was actually really good. And quite hot.

Pacey... one of my first real crushes and oh he is aged so very well. The affair episodes with him in it and his checked shirts and jeans ♥️ (fully aware I sound like a teenager)

Loved Pacey too. Agree about the supermarket episode - also the one where Joey gets drunk at a party and he puts her to bed. 'Look at you' - swoon!

My favourite episode is when they go to Dawson's Aunt's house and Pacey says "Im not going to kiss you again you need to kiss me" and Daydream Believer is playing in the background. Must be season 3?

Joshua Jackson is amazing in The Affair. And yes to whoever said that JVDB has improved with age-I follow him on Instagram as well!

JVDB in Don't Trust The Bitch in Apartment 23 is absolutely hysterical, I cannot recommend that show enough to any Creek fans.

I watched the first season of Dawson's creek as a teenager and really didn't get the point of Pacey …. THANKFULLY I watched again a few years later and adore the beautiful soul that is Joshua Jackson. Another guilty of following -stalking- his career with Fringe and The Affair etc. I have also watch all Dawson's Creek episode and tough it can drag on a bit, they most certainly ended it the right way .

The only complaint of Dawson's Creek was melodramatic teenage problems along with obsession over virginity. But still can't part with it as totally have the box set
