To ask you what is your favourite chocolate bar?

Inspired by the "what the fuck have they done to chocolate?" thread where many of us are on a quest to find the best milk chocolate bar now that Cadbury's doesn't taste like Cadbury's, can I ask you to share your favourite chocolate bar (not literally Grin) and say what it is about it you like? Eg the texture, the smell, the flavour itself (nutty, milky, creamy, bitter etc), creaminess... however you would describe it.

(According to another thread the Brits are obsessed with chocolate so I'm happy to prove them right Grin).

Pretty much all of it but if forced to pick.....

Star bar
Twirl
Snickers bites
Dinky Deckers
Boost
Bounty
Cadbury mint oreo
New M&S bar that tastes like posh Caramac

TurquoiseCat · 21/08/2018 23:45

Mmmm. Double decker. I am a pig though and eat just the biscuity layer first and the all the nougat. Not in public though, I'm disgusting but privately so!BlushGrin

Second favourite's a boost. Third would be a crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside, ARMADILLO dime bar.

What has happened to a lion bar is a travesty worthy of criminal proceedings...

AdoraBell · 21/08/2018 23:46

I’d also forgotten Old Jamaican.

Claw001 · 21/08/2018 23:46

Aldi cherry and chilli sounds nice!

Oh and I forgot walnut whips and cream eggs, they are quite sickly sweet, but lush.

tigercub50 · 21/08/2018 23:48

Just googled Old Jamaica & found a load of images of chocolate bars from my childhood (70s). Lovely! I also remember Golden Cup. Did anyone like Icebreaker? And Treets? ( Choc coated toffees).
I also used to like those chunky little bars of milk chocolate from the underground stations vending machines. Red wrapper & I seem to remember silver foil.

MorningCuppa · 22/08/2018 00:00

Boost
Star bar
Maltesers
Dairy milk with popping jelly beans

Doubledeckers
Red lindt - especially the eggs
Dairymilk

Eliza9917 · 22/08/2018 12:11

Oh, and topics!

MongerTruffle · 22/08/2018 12:12

Any Ritter Sport bar
I stock up on them every time I go to Poland.

runningkeenster · 22/08/2018 12:14

I thought Ritter Sport were German, there's a museum in Berlin.

I like quite a few of their flavours but you can't get them all in the UK.

I also like Maltesers.

Peoplemaynoticeus · 22/08/2018 12:16

Vego (vegan chocolate bar) but it's pretty expensive.

foxtiger · 22/08/2018 12:18

My favourite ever is Cabana, which you can't get any more.

These days I quite like Ripples, and Ritter's salted almond and honey flavour, which isn't available widely enough.

DiggertyDamn · 22/08/2018 12:19

I don't live in the UK now, but I used to love curley wurleys, do they still exist?

StylishMummy · 22/08/2018 12:20

Daim bad

CanIhavedessertfirst · 22/08/2018 12:22

I've changed by mind so much, reading the other responses, but my top 5 are probably (though change regularly) Twirl, Twix, Boost, Kinder Bueno and Yorkie.

Onlyfools · 22/08/2018 12:22

Twirl.

I love The twirl bites for a treat. Usually have a twirl a day. From the fridge with a cuppa tea. It’s amazing.

winterinmadeira · 22/08/2018 12:25

Twix
Kit Kat
M and s milk choc mountain bar
Lindt wafer bar
