I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. “Justice” took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to “break” - make up stories in order to get a “deal.” Such respect for a brave man!

I am still staggered at the "Lock her up!" chants at his rallies. It is beyond ridiculous - but he knows how to rouse his rabble and I am still very afraid they will get him re-elected in 2020, unless something huge happens to turn the GOP against him - but what could that be? We all thought by now he would have been ousted, but no, as I've said before, I'm afraid he was right when he said he could shoot someone in cold blood on Fifth Avenue with hundreds of witnesses and still get away with it.

Again and again, people have said 'imagine if Obama had done this or that, or 1% of what Trump is doing and has done, he would've been toast' but in the end it's the GOP and them supporting him that allows it. They have a lot to answer for
