Do I pick up his pants ?

Ok ,so 6 weeks ago my OH was finding his pants scratchy and decided to take them of in the front room .He managed to get them into the kitchen ,where he could have put them in the now empty washing machine ,but instead opted to place them in front of the washing machine next to the dishwasher where they have been now for the past 6 weeks . Now we both know they are there, yet neither of us are prepared to move them . They have since had food dropped on them ,water spilled on them and also kicked about a bit (I've kicked them back into the gap between the dishwasher and washing machine a few times ).Just wondering if anyone can beat my record of "hubby's pants being left on the floor where he left them "?. I'm hoping they can make it there till Christmas

Tell him to wash them or bin them. That’s rank

If you can leave them there until Christmas you could perhaps get some pretty lights to surround the area. It would look nice then

I admire your self control at leaving them!

I do this with my husband - although not with pants, with general junk on the coffee table when I get annoyed about always being the one to tidy up. I always cave within a week ... I don't think he even sees the mess!

yep and then they go in the bin and he complains. Totally child.

Tell him to pick them up and that he is a dirty sod.

Put them (and any other clothes of his he can't be arsed to deal with) in the bin. Keep repeating until behaviour changes

Add your dirty clothes.
Ask him when he's going to wash them.

I throw all my ohs crap down his side of the bed where i dont have to look at it.

Don't pick them up. Invite friends/family for dinner in the hope he'll be ashamed of leaving his pants in the kitchen. If he still doesn't pick them up you can tell them all about his itchy pants and you can all laugh at the absurdity of taking off his underwear in the front room.

See this is why I have a litter picker...which as an added bonus can also be used to pull down lightweight things from the higher cabinets. Also great for reaching under sofas and beds.

Rubbish left on the floor gets put in the bin in our house! Put them in the bin; he won’t leave his stuff there again.

Can't beat that.
