To think this is a perfectly good reason not to go out?

Dh has come home from work and suggested we walk to the local pub for dinner. Ordinarily I would jump at the idea but at 5pm I removed my bra. The ladies are a mahoosive gg cup and it's really bloody hot.

Aibu to send him for a take away instead? He is showing limited understanding to be honest.

I cannot find a comfy bra - have been measured everywhere and bought a million different styles/fabrics. Even wire free ones are annoying.
I would drape a scarf over my boobs to hide nipples and go out anyway!

FrozenMargarita17 · 09/08/2018 22:45

When I was on maternity leave my Dh would say to me late in the evening 'you still have your bra on!!' And I'd say 'yes, because my working day never ends...'

lololove · 09/08/2018 22:52

I'm a K cup - once the bra off it does NOT go on under pain of death. My boobs kill my shoulders and neck in a bra or out of a bra - but at least they don't cut my shoulders in half with straps - admittedly lessened now I'm in the correct size rather than 'coping' in a horrifically fitting H cup.

If I'm not leaving the house I'm 90% of the time in pj's and will often shower and just put clean pj's on haha. I will do anything to avoid wearing a bra, but would never leave the house without one due to the gravel rash potential.

ferrier · 10/08/2018 08:16

All the people with uncomfortable bras are probably using the bra intervention method of measuring Grin

SchadenfreudePersonified · 10/08/2018 09:51

I would go to the pub braless, but my puppies barely fit in a teacup.

haverhill · 10/08/2018 10:52

Tu have lovely seamless sleep bra type things up to xxl for six quid if anyone’s in the market.

LadyFlangeWidget · 10/08/2018 11:48

Slap him with your baps! Love it!

MenaMecca · 10/08/2018 12:33

Small letter a cup here Grin and I don't bother with bra unless absolutely necessary.

Can't relate.

Kintan · 10/08/2018 12:41

I’m a D cup so not small and have never felt the need to take my bra off for relief - is this because mine fits correctly? Not being patronising, but surely if a bra is in the right size/cup it shouldn’t feel uncomfortable?

Ollivander84 · 10/08/2018 12:42

I wear a Molke one around the house usually but happily go without a bra at home and am a 32K

Flaskfan · 10/08/2018 13:20

My bras are comfy for standing g up and moving, but when I'm half reclining on the sofa, they try to move my boobd where they don't want to go, so bra needs to come off. Bra off = end of movement other than wine/crisps to mouth.

StaySafe · 10/08/2018 14:02

Mine expand during the day if it is hot, so bra comes off the minute I get through the door.

flirtygirl · 10/08/2018 14:48

For all these who think that preferring to go braless is about bad fitting bras, it isn't.
Many have said so on this thread.

My bras fit perfectly and are comfortable but I still prefer to be braless as heavy breasts are heavy no matter what you do and the extra fabric is one less thing to contend with.

ferrier · 10/08/2018 17:12

In the days when I had heavy breasts there was even more reason to continue wearing my comfy bras because they would pull down and hurt without them. Bras hold boobs in place.

BertrandRussell · 10/08/2018 17:57

I hVe very well fitting bras- but I prefer not to wear one.

Rowgtfc72 · 10/08/2018 18:34

Hh here. Once the bra is off its off. I go nowhere.
Can't imagine sleeping in a bra. Can't wait to get mine off. Love wandering around the house without one.

Iamoutragedetc · 10/08/2018 18:36

When the bra is off there is no obligation to leave one's home.

MipMipMip · 10/08/2018 18:55

Kk here. Well fitting bra stays on until the end of the day but I resist putting on until as late as possible. It does restrict movement a bit - you can't sprawl in the same way as you can without. And even the comfiest bra leaves stinging marks around the band and straps.

Peanutbuttercups21 · 10/08/2018 19:03

I don't get the bra thing

Buy more comfy, less tight bras?

Peanutbuttercups21 · 10/08/2018 19:05

Ferrier, yes, was thinking the same!

lololove · 10/08/2018 19:55

Peanutbuttercups - bras for very large breasts aren't easily picked up in shops - nor are they cheap. We're talking £40+ per bra. (and that's a basic version of it).

My boobs weigh approaching a stone each (and I'm a carer too so moving people around) so that's a lot of pressure and pain as it is. Wearing a bra and pulling them up makes even more pressure and pain on my shoulders and neck.

Peanutbuttercups21 · 10/08/2018 21:36

Lololove, that sounds awful

So no chance to just wear a bandeau/bralette type thing then... sorry

Only a C/D here so I clearly have no idea Blush

Flaskfan · 10/08/2018 21:37

Less tight bras don't do the job properly. Got to be tight round the band.

Neverender · 10/08/2018 21:38

Once the bra is off, I'm in. Not even in. IN IN. The opposite of OUT OUT. (See Micky Flanaghan). Game. Over.

BabySharkDooDooDooDoo · 10/08/2018 21:41

There is no words to describe how good it is taking my bra off at the end of the day and letting my g/h cup boobs be free Grin
