To think this is a perfectly good reason not to go out?

Dh has come home from work and suggested we walk to the local pub for dinner. Ordinarily I would jump at the idea but at 5pm I removed my bra. The ladies are a mahoosive gg cup and it's really bloody hot.

Aibu to send him for a take away instead? He is showing limited understanding to be honest.

Totally reasonable!

SadTrombone · 07/08/2018 18:22

My fucking house could be on fire but if the bra has come off I'm not going anywhere.

ThePinkOcelot · 07/08/2018 18:22

Why can’t you just put your bra back on?

TeachesOfPeaches · 07/08/2018 18:23

Bra removal formally indicates the end of a day.

SadTrombone · 07/08/2018 18:24

@ThePinkOcelot YABVU

Deshasafraisy · 07/08/2018 18:25

If my dh suggested we go to the pub for dinner my bra would be snapped back on and I’d be out that door in a flash! It’s dinner in a pub!!!!

youwouldthink · 07/08/2018 18:26

Had a day off today. Bra has not gone on..Total heaven! Even considered turning off my phone in case someone wants me to go somewhere :)

Writersblock2 · 07/08/2018 18:27

ThePinkOcelot - we are frowning at you. We: everyone. Bear

geekone · 07/08/2018 18:29

I actually feel a bit ill at not having my bra off not comes off only just before I jump into bed. If I shower/bath and put my cozy jammies on to watch tv the bra goes back on!
YABU it’s the pub 🍻

BackforGood · 07/08/2018 18:30

I'm with Deshasafraisy - a stroll to a local pub for dinner, sounds absolutely lovely, and FAR better than a takeaway. I'd be returning the bra.

geekone · 07/08/2018 18:30

ill not having my bra on epic typing fail.

BertrandRussell · 07/08/2018 18:32

Loose shirt and a long drapy scarf. Sorted.

Pengggwn · 07/08/2018 18:32

Not sure my bra could be induced to return with out significant bribes.

StealthPolarBear · 07/08/2018 18:34

The minute I walked through the door my bra and dress went in the washer for tomorrow. I am wrapped in a blanket and hoping we don't get an amazon delivery if dh is on the loo.

SadTrombone · 07/08/2018 18:34

Likelihood of my leaving the house decreases exponentially with each of these events:
-shoes off (reason for departure would need to include food)
-bra off (reason for departure would need to include free food, alcohol and a chauffeur to the end destination)
-PJs on (no fucking chance)

GinasGirl · 07/08/2018 18:36

I get in and take off my bra and take out my contacts and that's it! I'm in!!

MonoClue · 07/08/2018 18:51

Once my shoes and bra come off that’s me in for the rest of the day.
Perfectly reasonable OP.

BarefootHippieChick · 07/08/2018 18:52

Bra removal has never been a thing for me. I have small tits though.

IncrediblySturdyPyjamas · 07/08/2018 18:54

I'm a GG and only ever wear bras for work.

It wouldn't stop me from going out to eat. No way.

Justgettothepoint · 07/08/2018 18:59

I'd pop another clean bra on and hop along to the pub.I'm also of a gg rating the knockers dept and wouldn't dream of going out without a bra as others suggested. Too hot for a takeaway. What did u decide OP?

Justgettothepoint · 07/08/2018 19:02

incrediably do you not wear them when out for the eve or shopping then? Sorry know it's a bit personal. Spose it depends on the perkiness if thats such a word! Grin

AnneLovesGilbert · 07/08/2018 19:03

YANBU. Takeaway it is.

My bra is still on but only because my bangers hurt more unsupported at the moment. I have undone my dress though and don’t plan to go further than the fridge and then my bed. I’m not leaving the bloody house for ANYONE.

ProudThrilledHappy · 07/08/2018 19:05

I’d normally say that once the puppies have been let out I’m staying in, but for a lovely pub lunch and no washing up it’s worth rounding them back in Grin

JennyOnAPlate · 07/08/2018 19:27

I've told dh that mn agrees with me. He did Hmm
