To think this is a perfectly good reason not to go out?

Dh has come home from work and suggested we walk to the local pub for dinner. Ordinarily I would jump at the idea but at 5pm I removed my bra. The ladies are a mahoosive gg cup and it's really bloody hot.

Aibu to send him for a take away instead? He is showing limited understanding to be honest.

I never understand this. My boobs are huge and having no bra on is painful and uncomfortable. I hate having them swing free.

ProudThrilledHappy · 07/08/2018 19:34

Jenny make sure he counts the chips before he leaves (see other thread about stingy chip shop portions)

cameltoeflappyflapflap · 07/08/2018 19:47

It's a rule in my house that if my bra comes off, I'm not leaving the house until the next day.

batshitbetty · 07/08/2018 19:53

I totally get it - once the bra is off I am going nowhere....

AynRandTheObjectivist · 07/08/2018 19:56

I really don't understand. Big boobed ladies, are you actually more comfortable with no bra on? It doesn't hurt? The swinging and dragging down isn't uncomfortable? You don't sweat more? You don't get backache?

I must be the only person in the world who puts a bra ON when I want to be comfortable. Sleep in one too. Hate them dropping around all over the place and getting squashed.

TentUpFirstBunkUpLater · 07/08/2018 19:56

I don't understand this - my bra makes me feel supported. No bra = sweaty underboob

I love wearing a bra

AynRandTheObjectivist · 07/08/2018 19:57

Oh thank God!

fist bumps TentUp

delphguelph · 07/08/2018 19:57

Chip barm???

TentUpFirstBunkUpLater · 07/08/2018 19:57

And I am 34FF - so hate the hang loose business

TentUpFirstBunkUpLater · 07/08/2018 20:02

@AynRandTheObjectivist

I never understand these threads and don't normally comment - but it seems you and I are on the same page

I hate the heavy dragging down and the sweat - even in the winter

My lovely Fantasie/Freya bras make such a difference and also help my back

soberexpat · 07/08/2018 20:24

I change into a lovely soft non wired sports bra at the end of the day, under pyjamas. Heaven!

BigChocFrenzy · 07/08/2018 20:36

"A" cup here, enables a lazier life
I often don't bother with a bra in the evenings or at weekends.
Maybe just a couple of postage stamps instead Wink

Big'ns though ... send him to fetch your bra and then you can enjoy a good meal out, with no mess to clear away.

GinIsIn · 07/08/2018 20:39

I would venture to suggest that if you are that desperate to take your bra off, you are wearing the wrong size/style.....

FloweringOrchid · 07/08/2018 20:41

My fellow GG jugs salute you! I hate putting my boulder holder back on once its been whipped off for the night.

ednclouda · 07/08/2018 20:42

Jennyona, Spose it depends on the perkiness ……….
I know you specified GG puppie size

I've been measured and my bras are comfortable, although huge and 100% scaffolding. It's still brilliant to take my bra off at the end of the day.

Longdistance · 07/08/2018 21:08

Double G’s here too. My favourite part of the day is whipping my bra off Biscuit Biscuit

sunshinewithabitofdrizzle · 07/08/2018 22:25

Another GG here, and god yes, taking the bra off is such a relief. I definitely wouldn't be putting it back on again for a pub dinner.

crispysausagerolls · 07/08/2018 22:34

Pre-baby I used to love having my bra on for support. Now that I’m breastfeeding there is nothing better than having the gals flopped out at home. Bra off = day finished. I don’t care if it’s 2pm or 7pm, day is over and bra is not going back on. Excellent result with the chippy OP, enjoy!

liquidrevolution · 09/08/2018 09:48

Taking the bra off at the end of a hot sweaty day at work (I work as an archaeologist so very physical) is better than sex imo.

This thread has made me laugh! I think that life is a very different experience for those rather generously endowed and those as flat as a pancake. I have always had small boobs and often wondered what it must be like to have a decent cleavage.

flirtygirl · 09/08/2018 12:26

Bra off means I'm done with the outside world too.

I don't always wear one if I'm in the house anyway, hence burning a low hanging boob whilst cooking, yes singed my nipples.

Did I learn, no still cook braless.... sometimes.

Gottagetmoving · 09/08/2018 12:43

I took my bra off and put my scruffy 'stay in' long t shirt on last night at six thirty, then my son called me to say he was out nearby with my little grandson and did I want to go out for a walk....I was back.in my bra and clothes pronto!
Wouldn't have done the same to go for a meal.

That's possible but my bras feel fine most of the day and fit very well, but in hot weather and by evening, they feel uncomfortable. I think I swell up a bit, same way they reckon your feet swell by the afternoon. Just as its a relief to take your shoes off....it's the same with a bra.
