Can I ask, which famous person do you get told you look like?

Some friends were over at the weekend. Their kids love Mrs Doubtfire and had watched it again recently. They told me how much I look like the mum character in the film, Sally Field . My son-in-law then piped up and said "Yeah I thought that too when I first met you". I can't see it myself but it could have been worse (thank the lord they didn't think I look like Robin Williams in drag!).

Can I ask who you get told you look like and whether you're happy with the comparison?

Me ; nobody.

DP ; John Travolta, the middle-aged version, not the SNF version! DP is a bit taller and broader, but his thick, dark, wavy hair, bright blue eyes, full lips & dimples make him look quite similar. He would look even more so if he had perfect Hollywood teeth, instead of dodgy British ones...

Dp gets told he looks like Peter Andre, Fabregas or anyone vaguely Mediterranean really.

Stacey Slater from Eastenders. I don’t see it but my hair was very dark for a while. Lighter and shorter now so don’t get it anymore.

My husband gets Gary Barlow a lot. Shame their bank accounts aren’t more similar.

I used to be told I looked like Gemma Atkinson (when she was in Hollyoakes so many moons ago). My DH gets told he looks like Robin Thicke.

I get Bonnie Langford, Celine Dionne, Felicity Kendall and Laurel from Emmerdale. I can accept this, tbh. I am quite thin with a prominent nose and the exact same hair.

Hubby gets Lionel Messi but I think he's more Richard Armitage (maybe I'm biased)

A few years ago I looked vaguely like Sarah Milligan and she always looks happy so I was pleased with that.

She's not famous but I know of an actress with my name, same background and heritage.

In the past, Christina Ricci, Sophie Dahl and Janine from Eastenders

As may be clear from the above, I have a fivehead, big eyes and a heart-shaped face. Not had any celebrity comparisons in a while though.

Diana Riggs when we were both younger (I am younger than her ) and I could see it.

Also Lesley Anne Down but not sure about that.

Pre kids a few guys told me I looked like Kylie Minogue. We had similar figures.

I don't look like her anymore.

I was told more than once that I looked like Princess Alexandra - but that was about 55yrs ago.... think our paths (and looks) have diverged somewhat since then

Back in the day Belinda Carlisle a few times. Personally I reckon it's just the hair. And, once, Amanda Tapping. Which I can't see at all.
These days I apparently just look like me.

Apparently I used to look like Justine from Grange Hill - back in the day. DB was the spitting image of Sean Maguire as a teenager, but now gets mistaken for Phil Spencer.

Sophie Turner....but an older, mumsier version. I've had that a few times now. If Sophie Turner had a jiggly belly and a mum bun, that'd be me.
