Can I ask, which famous person do you get told you look like?

Some friends were over at the weekend. Their kids love Mrs Doubtfire and had watched it again recently. They told me how much I look like the mum character in the film, Sally Field . My son-in-law then piped up and said "Yeah I thought that too when I first met you". I can't see it myself but it could have been worse (thank the lord they didn't think I look like Robin Williams in drag!).

Can I ask who you get told you look like and whether you're happy with the comparison?

Sometimes the woman from 2.4 children series but don't know her name. Dh Bruce Willis. Befote and after BW lost his hair.

Gillian Anderson. I sellotaped a pic of her onto my work pass for years and never got challenged once.

Twenty years ago it was winona ryder. Now not so much. She has aged better than me!!

Dp looks like ( everyday version of) Daniel Day Lewis. That's what first attracted me!

Davina McCall in her Street Mate era, used to have people shout that at me in the street and was offended as I’m 10+ years younger.
Nobody had said it for years and then my DS who is 5 pointed out a pic of Davina recently and said he thought it was me. I’m a plumper version but I can see we have similar features although mainly it’s the haircut that makes me look like her. And these days I’m happy with the comparison, she looks amazing for her age so I hope I keep getting the comments

I think hair has a lot to do with it. 1990s I had curly blond hair and I used to wear it in little twists held back with mini butterfly clips - apparently I looked like Faye from Steps

Few years later I had a bleached white spiky crop - my DD's pals said I looked like Pink! I'll take that thanks! 😀

Now, dark brown bob, and late 40s - nobody fucking notices me at all! 😩

When I was younger and blonde I used to get Heather Locklear a lot. Now with auburn/ginger hair I get Sansa Stark but I don't look like her really it's just the hair I think and the fact I'm fair skinned
