I got myself measured for the first time today. I have been wearing a 34A basically my whole life. Apparently my back size (not sure if that’s is the correct term!) is 27 but the lady advised I would probably find a 28 too tight so to go for a 30. After trying a few on she told me to go for a 30D for plunge/t-shirt styles and a 30C for balconette styles. Does anyone else have to get different sizes for different styles? My friend thought it was weird the assistant suggested that! I can’t believe I have been wearing the completely wrong size Flowers

38G.

QueenoftheNights · 04/08/2018 20:03

30D, 30DD depending on style- prefer wired, push up, plunge. Balconette don't work for me- straps too far apart and slip off.
I measure about 28 under bust and 35 round fullest part. Occasionally will buy 32C depending on brand.

crunchtime · 04/08/2018 20:03

38 g

Mokepon · 04/08/2018 20:03

32D or 32C depends on the style/brand.

Jolonglegs · 04/08/2018 20:06

Varies with different brands but generally 38DD or 38D

TheConstantMoaner · 04/08/2018 20:06

34DD

WhentheDealGoesDown · 04/08/2018 20:07

34C or 34D

sillyswimmer · 04/08/2018 20:09

30G. I normally wear balconette styles. I have one t-shirt bra which is a 30FF.

Mari50 · 04/08/2018 20:10

Pre pregnancy 34aa, post pregnancy 34a. Did try the whole bra recolution thing the other day and tried a 30c and a 32b/c on.
Seems I have a broad back and small tits after all.......

LakieLady · 04/08/2018 20:12

38E/EE, depending on style.

I was a 34E when slim, then a 36F, I don't know quite why I've gone back to an E when I've got fatter and my tits are bigger. Maybe I should go to Rigby&Peller.

GirthGrip · 04/08/2018 20:12

30gg

Gorrillagirlfanclub · 04/08/2018 20:13

Yes totally normal to be different sizes in different shops, styles and ranges. I'm a 40 F and find I just fall out of balcony bras. I've been told depending on your shape certain styles are better.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 04/08/2018 20:18

34gg

Too big

I wear different sizes with different makes though recently found Curvy Kate bras same size aimilar style one is quite a bit smaller

delilahbucket · 04/08/2018 20:23

32H usually, but sometimes go for a 30HH depending on the brand. I hate having big boobs and it's the one part of me that has only gotten bigger when I've gained weight and then have not shrunk as much when I've lost it.

DramaAlpaca · 04/08/2018 20:27

My bra size isn't something I want to share on here (though it's perfectly unremarkable!) but I wear the correct band size with a slight variation in cup size depending on the style of bra or the brand. That's usual, I think.

DownstairsMixUp · 04/08/2018 20:28

30h at the moment though I'm heavier usually im 28j

Ollivander84 · 04/08/2018 20:33

I vary but around a 32K/34JJ (same size, I just find sometimes a band too tight/too loose)

mistermagpie · 04/08/2018 20:42

Ive been wearing a 34b forever, although it doesn't fit really well. My boobs are really small though (b cup probably a bit big) so I'm surprised how big everyone's on here are!

stopgap · 04/08/2018 20:42

32D.

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 04/08/2018 20:43

I’m a 28E, but I have small shoulders (I’m a size 6) so only wear plunge bra’s.

VickieCherry · 04/08/2018 20:46

Usually 38G, but it varies between styles and brands. When I was 36E a few years ago I was fitted in a 40B in M&S Hmm

dementedpixie · 04/08/2018 20:47

M&S measured me as 40C but I'm 36GG really

GrumpyGoose · 04/08/2018 20:48

booborbust.com/

I used to wear 36DD but it turns out I'm a 34H or something

NoParticularPattern · 04/08/2018 20:54

I’m one of those rare people who actually got fitted for the correct size in M&S (this was pre-preagnancy). My BoB and R&P sizes were the exact same as the one that M&S had put me in. Clearly the exception to the rule as my MIL got fitted as a 40B in M&S when she’s a good 2-3 dress sizes smaller than me and has much larger boobs 😂😂. Just done my measurements again now for nursing bras and apparently I’ve gone from 38D (DD in some styles/brands) to a 38HH. Cheers DD!

stoplickingthetelly · 04/08/2018 20:59

I'm a 32E. I don't get on well with plunge styles though, balcony suits me much better.
