Me! I have caught myself saying it on a couple of occasions BlushGrin mainly about the bastard ex

FlyingElbows · 31/07/2018 09:29

"do you have access to money?" usually trotted out by someone desperately trying to convince an op they're being hideously abused when the truth is they're just a bit narked because their Dh didn't lead the dishwasher properly.

Or the insufferably irritating "put it on a zero percent interest credit card" which will apparently instantly cure all the problems of those in desperate financial situations (who don't have the credit scores necessary to access 0% cc deals!).

PuntCuffin · 31/07/2018 09:29

You need to nip this in the bud usually said about a problem which has been ongoing for decades

Philodox I think you’ll find that I am Angela Hernandez.

I was using the phrase wnaky baskets only the other day IRL - I have quite forgotten what the less pejorative word for them is.

Anyonewhoknows 'UCM is that you' was hilarious. I'd forgotten about that thread. Is it in classics?
