Quotation from Quintillian, I believe (unless someone was fibbing about that too).

www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/midterms-2018-election-democrat-republican-voters-turnout-donald-trump-congress-a8492486.html

'In a boost for Democrats ahead of the midterms, two swing states have seen extraordinary voter turnout in the party’s primary elections.

Minnesota and Wisconsin saw dramatic increases in participation as both Democrat and Republican voters picked their candidates for Congress, the senate and governor.

Democrats are hoping to replicate successes seen around the nation over the past 18 months in local and state special elections, where high levels of enthusiasm have propelled them to victories in a number of races, including deep red Alabama’s senate seat.'

Voter turnout at the midterms was something I couldn't predict.

The same instinct that values an Apprentice video where Donald says the N-word than public pictures of Trump separating children of color from their parents is same one that turned 2016 into election abt hacked and leaked emails.

The Os and Aretha:

Do you think the Oaf is capable of being moved like that, or genuinely touched by a heartfelt rendition of a wonderful song, or swept away by a great orchestral piece, or transported by some magnificent opera? Do you think he ever cries, or ever has cried in adulthood?
And, how rending it is to be reminded that with the BHO presidency we actually thought there had been a true step forward.

I voted for Trump,” Krein laments. “And I sorely regret it
The full description of contents was on the box and you opened it anyway. And many millions have much more cause to regret it than this doofus.

Exactly:
Conceivably, he could have found something damning and tipped off Bowditch and Wray
If there is such information, the F.B.I. needs to make this clear immediately. At the very least, it needs to explain the basis of the decision to dismiss Strzok, pointing out which internal rules he violated, and why these violations amounted to a firing offense. As things stand, it looks like the Bureau’s leaders buckled to Trump and his political and media outriders, dispensing with departmental norms and setting a highly disturbing precedent
......Trump clearly sees Strzok’s dismissal as a victory, albeit a relatively small one. That should be sufficient cause for alarm. Encouraged by what happened here, Trump will surely expand his attacks on Mueller and his colleagues. The leaders of the F.B.I. need to start talking

@CarlosLozadaWP
I spent the last few weeks reading diehard pro-Trump books. Here’s my review of the Trumpist literature, with an Unhinged plot twist at the end: link: www.washingtonpost.com/news/book-party/wp/2018/08/15/i-read-six-sycophantic-pro-trump-books-and-then-i-read-omarosa/?utm_term=.217798bf557a)washingtonpost.com/news/book-part…

Donald Trump's list of accusations about John Brennan today:

  • "Erratic conduct and behaviour"
  • "Frenzied commentary"
  • "Wild outbursts on the internet and television"
  • Monetizing his official position
  • Told lies

Sanders's full list of people about whom Trump is "evaluating action": Clapper, Comey, Hayden, Yates, Rice, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr.

Comey, McCabe no longer have clearance. Sanders says Trump may prevent people who no longer have them from re-obtaining them.

But let’s also look at Trump’s vendetta against free speech from a personal perspective. What is he trying to hide? Seriously, no White House (not even the Nixon White House) has demonstrated such abject fear of inside stories.
