Quotation from Quintillian, I believe (unless someone was fibbing about that too).

That should of course be 'Rolls'

Gumpendorf · 14/08/2018 09:56

And even more from Maddow last night, and more seriously than those 'Perspective Rolls', Rachel looks at how Trump has systematically destroyed the careers and reputations of all the people involved in the initial FBI investigation into Trump/Russia.

.@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa. I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up. Look at her MANY recent quotes saying....

....such wonderful and powerful things about me - a true Champion of Civil Rights - until she got fired. Omarosa had Zero credibility with the Media (they didn’t want interviews) when she worked in the White House. Now that she says bad about me, they will talk to her. Fake News!

'CNN poll: Most say Mueller should try to end investigation before Election Day'

'WASHINGTON (CNN)Two-thirds of Americans, including majorities across party lines, would like to see special counsel Robert Mueller try to finish the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election before voters go to the polls to elect a new Congress this November.
That result, from a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, comes amid rebounding approval ratings for both President Donald Trump and Mueller for their handling of the investigation, and a growing share of voters who say the investigation will matter to their vote this fall.'

' ... At the same time, Trump's overall approval rating of 42% is about the same as its level this spring, suggesting few opinions have changed as a result of an eventful summer in the White House.
The poll marks the first time that CNN polling has found Trump's approval rating above that of one of his predecessors at the same point in their presidency. Trump's 42% outpaces Jimmy Carter's and Bill Clinton's ratings of 39% each in the August of their second year in office, and narrowly tops Ronald Reagan's 41% rating in August of 1982.'

Oh, my Lord. Before the crazed lowlife deletes this tweet, I’ll just paste it here for posterity. This is just terrible. I would write ‘I have no words’ but clearly I have. This cannot go on, surely. He is not a leader of any kind: world, national, political, social, moral - anything. He is simply a craven vicious being who knows he has lost.

When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!

ohmymimi · 14/08/2018 13:05

The frightening by thing is it can and will go on, Claws .

There has essentially been very little restraint on this type of behaviour. His approval rating, though low, hardly shifts whatever repugnant, demeaning or dangerous thing he does. Why should he hold back giving in to his very basest instincts?
I'm not sure this particular disgusting outpouring is a reaction to what OMN has already 'revealed', or what he knows she knows and can yet reveal, maybe both. Amazing, isn't it, that this vile degenerate has been enabled to become, continue as, and even possibly be re-elected the highest office of the USA?

TheClaws · 14/08/2018 13:15

I wonder if this is the act that will shift the strange allegiance of evangelicals away from Trump.

lionheart · 14/08/2018 14:31

Nothing else has done the trick so insulting a disloyal balck woman won't matter.

And 66% think Mueller should wrap up by the midterms...

Sorry mimi. I didn't see you had posted a version. 😊

Just in from a Trump campaign official: "Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign."

More from the swamp

@rgoodlaw
These Kushner-Manafort emails show extraordinary access and influence Manafort had with Trump transition team MONTHS after he was fired and MONTHS after it was publicly known he was under FBI investigation.

Remember this—next time POTUS says he wasn’t warned of Manafort by FBI. twitter.com/rgoodlaw/status/1029333339076014082/photo/1

Linky to Rucker tweet, GumpSmile
So Campaign is being used to go after OMN, with arbitration to avoid depositions (according to one tweeter in thread).

'Supporters of fired FBI agent Peter Strzok rallied to his side on Monday and donated nearly $200,000 on GoFundMe in just 15 hours.
The current goal is $350,000.

A lengthy statement on Strzok’s GoFundMe page described him as a “proud husband and father, a veteran of the U.S. Army and counterintelligence special agent who spent more than two decades in a job he loved at the FBI.” The statement ends with:

“We are asking you to support a man who has dedicated his life to defending America; to stand up for the freedoms on which this country was built ... by protecting all Americans, including dedicated government employees, from constantly being subjected to the whims and influence of politicians.”
The money will be kept in a “trust dedicated to covering Pete’s hefty – and growing – legal costs and his lost income.”
As of early Tuesday, more than 4,800 people had donated to the fund.'

'Paul Manafort’s defense rested Tuesday without calling any witnesses — including Manafort himself — a decision that will send the tax- and bank-fraud trial into its final stages before jury deliberations begin shortly.
U.S. District Court Judge T.S. Ellis III rejected a last-minute bid by the defense to toss out the charges against Manafort, the former chairman of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.'
