I havent worn a bikini since I was about 8, you lucky thing.

I am a dumpy little size 14, with stretch marks from 3 kids but you know what, I am ok with that, looks are temporary, I am getting old, my DH is getting old, we both have saggy bits, wrinkles and grey hairs, I have even lost a tooth but we still love each other, we laugh about it, personality is far more important I have come to realise.

Op have you tried OLD not necessarily to meet the one but to give yourself a chance to chat to men and get some confidence talking to them?

I have been on a gazillion OLD dates. And speed-dating and singles events and singles holidays...

You look good! People can look good in their 40s! My stomach is ruined due to pregnancy but the red of my body is good! Facially I have barely any wrinkles and look younger. I am 43! I know a few women who look great in their 40s!!!!

TBH, the self deprecating comments on here (from a few posters) are really irksome and tedious to read. Comments like 'I have a fat belly,' and 'I have a fat face, thick glasses, spotty nose,' and 'my eyes are tiny and I am so ugly, that no-one will marry me, but they will still shag me. and so on and so on...........

I know people may mean well, and may be trying to make the OP feel better, but frankly, it's a bit naff to read, and makes the person saying it, sound as attention-seeking as the OP.

Its important that people realise everyone has insecurities and body dysphoria is a real thing. No point pretending you think you are perfect and thinking that cheers anyone up.

Yes, I am intersex. I meant that that isn't necessarily the sole explanation for any insecurities.
