I look totally unrecognisable. I'm not going to lie to you it does get me down especially when the whole world seems to take the perfect photo.

I'm 28, 5ft and 12st something and do not hold the OPs insecurities as any less than mine. At the end of the day OP feels insecure and just because to us she looks lovely doesn't mean she sees it.

Hope you don't say similar to people with body dysmorphia.

I expect you feel you're not attractive enough for a partner but that's not the case. Circumstances sometimes get in the way there.

Just enjoy the little things you couldn't do if you had a partner or at least wouldn't get whined at not to do. Use your alone-ness as a positive.

Spider I'm afraid I have to disagree with you. I am the most unphotogenic person on the planet. It's official. Even my adult DCs laugh and laugh at the photos of me because I look like a horse photobombing a nice family's picture.

I totally get that spider. Thats why i grew out of doing it. In my mind whenever i got bad comments it was confirmation of what i already knew. I'm still ugly as fuck now but i just try to not wallow in my looks anymore. They are what they are.

I cant condemn op though as I would be a hypocrit.

My sis is 44yo, no kids. I can tell you she has a figure and body plenty of women would love to have! Perky boobs, fab teeny butt, gorgeous skin, barely a wrinkle! She looks years younger, and not a surgical procedure in sight. So I do believe the OP is the age she says she is.
Hopefully she isn't the prize cow my sis is too....
(I actully love her, she is my sis, but I can also see that she can be a bee-atch!!)

OP of course you look great. I am a similar size but covered in stretch marks from having 2 kids, this year is the first since having kids that I have worn a bikini on the beach.

Not giving a shit is the way to go kmen. I know it matters lots to lots of people and it's a struggle if you think you look awful, but in my case if you haven't got it, you haven't got it. It can't be manufactured as such (well... a face transplant and continual liposuction might work, but don't touch my feet!) so I just have to rely on being upbeat
