The crime is a horrific crime, and the classification of their gender is irrelevant to that.

There is an issue of safety of inmates, but that is an issue irrespective of gender. Men in prison should be protected from violent or dangerous inmates. Women in prison should be protected from dangerous inmates.

You cant bully the world to recognise you as something you are not.

So a transman is 'vulnerable' in a male prison. Would that be because many male inmates are indeed violent and rapists?

Probably get dragged for saying this but I agree. For me a Male Human committed this crime. They might self identify as a woman but genetically it was a man who raped this child. Abhorrent. To then put this person in a prison where woman have pictures of their children around is terrible however in a male prison fathers do the same. I genuinely believe murderers and rapists of this level should just be placed in solitary confinement and receive deep intensive therapy sessions. If they can not live a rehabilitated life inside prison then a secure hospital it is. I don't see the gender as a problem men and women commit horrendous crimes everyday. I do think that trans or self ID is a massive problem in the prison system that needs to be addressed ASAP. No matter if a man sees himself as a woman, he used his male genitalia (at the time) to rape a child. He should of then been tried as man and sent to a male prison? Is that how it should work? Why would you think that? Violent men assault other men in male prisons all the time. Fear of being hurt doesn't seem to stop them.

I don’t care what language you use. But your inconsistencies highlight the major flaw in your claim that humans can change sex. It is absolute bullshit. Tell your family member that and save them a lifetime of dangerous drugs and surgeries. They were not born in the wrong body. Their body is their own and they have their own unique personality. Just like everyone else.

Of course your family member is Skaros. They are a biological female no matter how they identify in terms of gender. And because of that they need to be treated as female in a medical setting. You wouldn't be happy if they became ill because their female biology was ignored would you. And I doubt if they committed a crime they would be sent to a male prison. I don't believe there are any biological females / trans men in a male prison setting. Apart from staff. Because they are vulnerable. There's no issue in using the pronouns someone wants in order to be polite. It matters little. But when it comes to the really important things the biological truth cannot be ignored.

Every time women try and discuss male violence they are silenced with 'not all men are like that', 'women do it too' or 'this person identified as a woman so they are not a man, even though they raped a baby with their penis'.
