Help! I have one dd. My mil has lived with us since we have been married.

She is a very strong woman and overruled me on everything. She sends me to bed if I sneeze.

When dd was 2 dh pissed off capturing butterflies in Africa and I havnt heard off him for years. Bastard. So mil got friendly with a wierd lady next door. She has big hair coils round her ears, writes books and has lots of kids.

I am concerned she is also involved in modern slavery as she has a woman living with her called Anna who does everything.

Anyway mil and this wierd Jo woman have colluded to send dd to a boarding school.

Aibu to just want to move away with dd. Start again and have some fun? Grin

Guess the book and keep going. Grin

When my DH died my stepson inherited everything and didn't give us a penny

I was a widow and homeless within a month

If it hadn't been for my cousin giving us a cottage I don't know what I would have done.

Of course the price we've paid is that they interfere constantly and gossip about my teenage daughters love lives

One of my DDs has met a nice young man, everyone criticises me for allowing her to be with him unchaperoned but I don't see what could possibly go wrong

Sounds farfetched but I experienced time travel while at boarding school. I guess it was a combination of homesickness, insomnia and a creepy atmosphere in the older part of the building. Have to say it left me with an abiding interest in aspects of life in England during WW1 and the dreadful effect of Spanish flu thereafter.

We have recently moved to London from Shropshire so that my husband can spend more time with a very well-known gentleman who is the UK expert in their favourite hobby. He spends all day every day at this man's house, leaving me with little to do except buy new curtains, and visit the wife of another of my husband's friends, whom I am convinced is undergoing some sort of breakdown.

On the rare occasions that my husband and I do manage to go out together to a party or a dinner, my husband's friend always seems to turn up, and when he does, he completely ignores me, and just follows my husband from room to room.

My husband doesn't seem to notice how tiresome his friend's behaviour, and I'm starting to wonder if there isn't some deeper reason for their mutual attachment.

Are they having an emotional affair? Should I take up my husband's hobby too, in the hope that he will take more notice of me? And how can I help my friend, who never goes out, has smashed all the mirrors in her house, and today ripped up her wedding dress for a needlework projects?

I was in love with a man before I had a car crash in which my face was injured beyond recognition. The lovers mother paid for me to have reconstructive surgery as long as I never contacted her son again whilst she told him that I hsd died in the crash. My face was unrecognisable and I fell in love with my plastic surgeon. Prior to crash we had buried a row of beads under a rock. I removed them. My former lover then knew I was alive and we reunited. Awww..

WIBU to go for a pint with my mate? I've got this argument going with the local planning department and I don't think it's safe to leave the house ATM, but my mate reckons a drink (or six) down the local would do the world of good. He's a good bloke, a bit eccentric, a bit other-worldly, but thinks I shouldn't panic so much. Should I go with him?

I have never really recovered from the kidnap and murder of my little granddaughter, which led to the tragic death of my daughter and the suicide of my son in law. I arranged the perfect way to get my revenge on her killer, who now lives a free life under a different name. All those affected have come together to commit the perfect murder and it was all going according to plan, until one little man showed up and a natural disaster kept us from escaping. Everything could be ruined.

Donkeys, I don't think so. I've been out, only just catching up on thread. I'll try to think of a clue that won't give it away entirely.

Bearfam · 18/07/2018 18:07

I went away with my next door neighbour and met a very nice friend who got engaged to my brother. I met a very nice man who likes clothes and he and his sister took me for a walk.

Long story short I went to stay with him. He’s lush but his dad may be a wife killer. He has thrown me out and I have to go home.

My first friend turned out to be a slapper and I got secretly engaged to the man who liked clothes.

His dad is happy and ok with us now as his sister made a get good marriage. Still think he killed his wife.

The end.
