To think those loose flowery trousers that are so popular make even the slim look like they have an arse of an elephant?

What business is it of yours what someone else wears? They choose their clothes, they are happy. What a horrid thing to say

MustBeThursday · 16/07/2018 09:21

Probably they do (not that I need additional in that department) but they're comfy so I don't really care in the heat we've been having. And saves people being blinded by my glowingly-pale legs.

Trills · 16/07/2018 09:21

Where you've gone wrong is the assumption that making your arse look smaller is universally considered to be desirable/important.

BatShitBuns · 16/07/2018 09:24

I have a very little bum and I love a big bum so I'm quite happy to wear anything that makes me look as though I've actually got an arse.

In any case, what other people wear is none of your business. HTH.

X post. Exactly that. Try being latina with a small bum.

GameOfMinges · 16/07/2018 09:25

Yes, I'm amazed that OP didn't know wanting a bigger arse is a thing!

MrsPreston11 · 16/07/2018 09:25

Nothing wrong with a big bum.

I like mine, I wear them with a tight top, tucked in, so that even though my arse looks big you can tell from my top half I'm not an elephant.....

They're great in this weather.

We in the white western world tend to think our way of thinking is the only way of thinking.

I say we - I'm actually ethnically half-latina, but no one believes me as I look so white haha.

Tomatoesrock · 16/07/2018 09:27

No I disagree they are flattering for most ladies, I am slim and they make me feel slim and are very comfortable with a vest top, I have seen them on larger ladies with a nice bright top and I think they look really lovely too.

Jux · 16/07/2018 09:29

If they're the ones geekone has linked to, they're fugly especially worn with heels.

If they're the harem pants tyoes, then YABU. DD wears them, has about 3 pairs, and looks gorgeous in them.

Terriblydifficult · 16/07/2018 09:29

I love these trousers. Comfy and cool.

Mammalamb · 16/07/2018 09:29

I’m wearing them right now. I already have the arse of an elephant so it makes no difference to me. But they are so comfy!

Milfromhades · 16/07/2018 09:30

I agree. These flowery trousers are everywhere in the cheaper shops and its so annoying they don't make a plain version. The material is nice and soft and cool but I don't like the patterns and if you want to wear a t shirt with a picture on it they never go together.

NC4Now · 16/07/2018 09:31

I like big butts. I cannot lie. Grin

Namechangeforhair · 16/07/2018 09:31

I want some of these. Where can I get them?

Tomatoesrock · 16/07/2018 09:32

Yes the harem ones I wear and love.

All my teenage DN love and pump their thighs to create the big ass look. Beyonce, Kim K, Latino lady ass is big fashion these days.

Buffythevampireslayerr · 16/07/2018 09:34

This. Don't try and shame women for wearing something you don't deem "flattering". Be better.

InfiniteVariety · 16/07/2018 09:35

Mostly they look like Maria in "The Sound of Music" made them out of a pair of curtains

JarlBalgruuf · 16/07/2018 09:39

its so annoying they don't make a plain version.

eBay is your friend!!

I am a regular wearer of proper dropped crotch harem pants and once you put a pair on you never find anything else as comfy again. Yes, even pyjamas. Wore them when I was at my skinniest, and they fitted me all through pregnancy.

When I met my husband he literally only wore skinny jeans. I gave him my velvet harem pants and now he hates jeans!

MrsPeacockDidIt · 16/07/2018 09:41

This type ? I have 4 floral pairs and one plain pair and love them in this heat. Also handy for camping. My bum does look pretty huge in them but that’s mainly due to my huge arse Smile. I team them with plain vest top or tshirt.

Longdistance · 16/07/2018 09:42

Ooo, I’ve got about 5 pairs. They’re bloody comfy, and I have the arse of an elephant. Do I care what you think? Nah, bore off!

Birdshitbridgegotme · 16/07/2018 09:43

I love me some floaty trousers but then I do have a arse the size of a elephant Grin

LuMarie · 16/07/2018 09:44

I'm a size 4/6 and tall. I've still got some booty going on. Sometimes I gain weight (lots, multiple sizes up, I can eat), I still go out in my yoga clothes and strangers kindly comment that I've gained so much weight, wow look at me, everyone come look at Lu! Someone actually asked me if I could still see my toes last weekend, because my boobs had gotten so big. I can't, but hey, big boobs! Whatever is my feeling. Healthy, zero complaints. So I don't care about size or booty. It's all good.

I do however care about crimes against fashion and those pants most definitely are that!

Hushnownobodycares · 16/07/2018 09:46

I have a pair with elephants (and their arses) on. Do I win? Grin

Oysterbabe · 16/07/2018 09:48

Oh I should get some of these. I have a horrible flat arse and would love for it to look more full. Do you need to be young for these do you think or would they be ok on someone who's 37 and looks it?
