Had a MCchicken sandwich, strawberry milkshake and chips for afternoon snack lunch. So good. Tasted like 1997.

What would you have? I'm buying

Thanks WhatToDo
McD is on,y fast food place we all like, and when you’ve been a trip it’s great to see the Golden Arches sign

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 14/07/2018 11:17

LipstickHandbagCoffee No worries, I’m happy to answer any questions Smile

That’s the great thing about McDonalds - it’s consistent, so you always know there’ll be something you’ll like.

Windbeneathmybingowings · 14/07/2018 11:17

I don’t know if it is always quicker in those restaurants @whattodo. They have lots of orders backed up in our local but yes, the ordering part is much quicker. There is service but I feel a bit bad doing that because I’m so used to getting it all myself!

I am a Big Mac meal deal with nuggets on the side kind of girl. Bbq sauce and dip your chips in your milkshake.

Sparklingbrook · 14/07/2018 11:18

Yes I agree McDs is very handy on a road trip because you can get something to tide the DC over and you know exactly what that will be and get straight in and out.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 14/07/2018 11:20

I usually have breakfast, so sausage and egg McMuffin, hash brown and large toffee latte please. 😆

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 14/07/2018 11:20

I don’t know if it is always quicker in those restaurants @whattodo.

Windbeneathmybingowings I’ve worked in several McDonalds, both before and after EOTF.

Orders go out much faster on the new system than they ever did before because it requires more crew and so the system is much smoother and more efficient.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 14/07/2018 11:22

Either Quarter Pounder with cheese, double cheeseburger, Big Mac or chicken BLC with fries and diet coke.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 14/07/2018 11:22

TakeABreak email them and complain. McDonald's are sticklers for food hygiene.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 14/07/2018 11:25

Forgot grilled sweet chilli chicken wrap. I'll eat basically the whole of McDonald's. Never tried a breakfast though.

hungryhippo90 · 14/07/2018 11:31

I’m on exante, so I’m starving (literally!)
If I could, I’m sorry but if I could, I’d devour a double cheeseburger and a Big Mac with large fries and I’d have a coke.

Trying to figure out if I can work a double cheeseburger without tomato ketchup and the bun into a low carb meal....

Oh McDonald’s. I’ll be back soon!!

Guiltypleasures001 · 14/07/2018 11:33

Oooo thanks op

I'll have a big tasty, fries and a cherry pie, bottle of water
Cheers ta

NancyDonahue · 14/07/2018 11:38

I like the wraps and salads. They always tasty and fresh.

I used to eat the burgers with no problems, but as ive got older I can't seem to tolerate them. I get lethargic and feel ill.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 14/07/2018 11:38

The garden salad is nice and really competitive priced

purplelass · 14/07/2018 11:42

ExH banned McDonalds in our house (something to do with funding the IRA?!) so I've only just started going.
Grabbed a double cheeseburger & strawberry milkshake for my dinner last night from the far too local drive through. Was lush Smile

Boulshired · 14/07/2018 11:43

I have a cheeseburger happy meal with the fries placed in my burger topped with a carton of bbq sauce with an orange juice. Then a latte to finish off and my order hasn’t changed in 20 years.

Windbeneathmybingowings · 14/07/2018 11:44

@whattodo I waited 10 mins for my order the other day, I was no43 and they were on no28. Waltham Abbey drive through on a week day. I’ve never stood at the counter for 10 minutes Confused not even 5 mins I don’t think.

Sallystyle · 14/07/2018 11:44

Double sausage egg and bacon McMuffin with two has browns.

Growingboys · 14/07/2018 11:44

I hate McDonalds but take the children every now and then for a treat, and if I am eating with them I have a Filet of Fish, medium chips and a water.

It's always dirty and I've had rows with people who throw their rubbish on the ground in the car park (our nearest is also a drive thru).

Urgh I hate everything about it.

(On the flip side I love Five Guys and Honest burgers)

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 14/07/2018 11:46

Nottheduchessofcambridge · 14/07/2018 11:50

Or
Double sausage and egg McMuffin meal.
Yum.

slapmyassandcallmejudy · 14/07/2018 11:50

Ooooh right now it'd be a big tasty, fries and cheese bites with a strawberry lemonade!

Or 3 chicken selects meal!

Bubblysqueak · 14/07/2018 11:54

Pre dairy allergy it would be big Mac meal, strawberry milkshake.
Now it's chicken stripper's and diet coke please.

purplelass · 14/07/2018 11:57

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 14/07/2018 12:03

Pre yeast intolerance it would have been:

Breakfast: Sausage, Egg & Cheese Bagel

Rest of the time: 1/2 pounder with cheese, fries, 7up and a scorching hot apple pie if I had room.

Agaghghhh I miss McDonald's :(
