I came across this on the wish shopping app recently. I know pictures don't always work so quick description : they are male masturbation sex toys similar to fleshlight (brand name) they are designed to look and feel like vaginas. This is pretty gross for me personally but not disgusting I appreciate some people think they are fine. What I do think is disgusting is that the products are clearly labeled with the ages of the vagina they mimic and the youngest is 14. Below the age of consent. Am I over reacting here or is this basically allowing men to mimic sex with a 14 year old so therefore pretty problematic? I added a trigger warning as I'd rather be safe than cause any distress. Hope it is appropriate use.

If the age of consent in this country is 16 then I dont think its legal to advertise or sell that item here.

There is no age of consent to shove your dick up a plastic vagina though?

Importing child sex dolls and indecent or obscene items generally is illegal. Are these being bought from China and imported?

"Hazel Stewart, from the National Crime Agency, said: "We know [child sex doll] purchases can indicate other offences against children, as was the case against Turner who had a sickening stash of abuse images.

"Importers of such obscene items should expect to have law enforcement closing in on them.""

"The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) says sex dolls can be dangerous proxies to act out fantasies like rape or child abuse. Almudena Lara, NSPCC’s head of policy and public affairs, said: There is a risk that people using these dolls could become desensitised … (and) go on to harm children, as is often the case with those who view indecent images of children online. ‘There is absolutely no evidence that using the dolls stops potential abusers from abusing children.’ "

I'm not sure if the ASA deal with websites?

The people who said you don't just stumble across this I'm not sure if they meant this product on wish or images of child abuse?

Wish seems to have an algorithm which suggests products. As I previously said it suggested these after I'd looked at something like body stocking (not thinking of buying!) either way I could have been looking for sex toys (and so what?) and it would suggest these items. I'm not sure my choice of shopping websites or what I buy is particularly relevant. The point still remains that they seem to be suggesting that the toy mimics a 14 year old vagina which I was uncomfortable with.

I believe they are being sold directly from China.
