Pray for Salisbury

Gosh I feel so much for the people living there and that there is an object somewhere there that contains a deadly nerve agent that anyone could pick up and die from. The police have said they have no idea where it is and just hope once the guy can speak he can tell them.

Must be so awful for parents and for the local economy, I really am praying they find it ok

Perking you are absolutely right and similar levels of competence by perpetrators in Salisbury. Because they DONT CARE. They're back in Russia as are Litvinenkos murderers. It must be horribly frightening living in Salisbury just now if out with children or just walking dog. Thoughts with everyone.

JJS888 · 12/07/2018 02:42

This whole thread is ridiculous. Biscuit

longwayoff · 12/07/2018 05:47

Sorry Ivanovitch. We'll try to do better.

JJS888 · 12/07/2018 07:37

It's much more am using than it should be. People unable to accept something thats not a drama isn't a drama. Won't someone please think of the little children (but fuck anyone else, who cares about them) Grin

As an aside, nobody thought of the children when you invaded Baghdad. Use this as an an example because I was there. But no children dying ever in a silly nonsense chemical leak from the local military lab is subject to hyperbole and drama. Absolutely ridiculous.

yearyeahyah · 12/07/2018 09:37

Crazy that people are adiment it wasn't the RussiansConfused, espically with their track record. Especially as world leaders are certain it was them thanks to the evidence presented.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 12/07/2018 09:43

This whole poisoning episode is so odd, I don’t believe a word anyone, British or Russian, says about it.

JJS888 · 12/07/2018 09:48

Why do you care so much? It's a nothing event.

TypicallyNorthern · 12/07/2018 09:50

They've put out a statement on facebook that youre not to pick up any unusual object

Or they could send in a team of people to the places the man and woman had been, pick up all the syringes, bottles and other bits of crap lying around, clear out the bins an then give the place a good blasting with a power washer to make sure they have picked up all the crap?

Why is it up to the public to not go round picking up bits of crap with deadly chemicals in them?

yearyeahyah · 12/07/2018 09:53

State sponsored killings on foreign soil is a nothing event Grin

Seasawride · 12/07/2018 09:54

It all seems utterly bizarre to me although if all other governments think it’s Russia then I guess it is.

Yes I feel very sorry for the local people it must be frightening and the local
Shops and businesses must have suffered.

But your op sounds like a bad pop song.

JJS888 · 12/07/2018 09:56

If it gives you a bit of excitement to think that, carry on. So funny how desperate certain types of people are to have a drama. I don't care of it was Russian or whatever. I just can't get her up about a bunch of housewives breast beating about something that isn't what they wish it was.

wrapsuperstar · 12/07/2018 09:58

We live in Salisbury and had spent a few hours in the park that’s now cordoned off on the Saturday in question. It’s all fairly shit here, though most of us are carrying on as normal (despite a major walking route into town being out of bounds, causing massive frustration!)
I absolutely do not trust the official narrative. The proximity to Porton Down really can’t be a coincidence. The advice we’ve been given from Public Health is just chilling — on the brink of the summer holidays and we need to be this vigilant! I worry about where they will draw the line. First they tell us not to pick up any strange containers (fair enough), but that now seems to have extended to a general ‘if you didn’t drop it, don’t pick it up’ message. Next will we be told not to sit on the grass? I have visions of my kids kicking a ball into the bushes this summer and not daring to let them retrieve it. Time for PHE and the authorities to be more upfront with the risk.

RedDwarves · 12/07/2018 09:59

Another with the opinion that this has nothing to do with Russia.

longwayoff · 12/07/2018 10:07

You sound a little bit tetchy jjs, probably the heat. Have a gentle stroll thru your local park and a nice cup of tea. Youll feel a lot better afterwards.

yearyeahyah · 12/07/2018 10:18

Do the people that are convinced (despite the UK government offering private evidence that has convinced other country leaders it was the Russians) it's nothing to do with Russia think the London poisening what nothing to with Russia?

JJS888 · 12/07/2018 10:44

I'm not tetchy, I'm laughing at you. I'm at work in the on call room so literally have nothing better to do.

Zoflorabore · 12/07/2018 10:55

JJS- what a delight you are!

3 children have lost their mother due to this "non event"- you are an absolute disgrace.

I suggest you get back to work dear and piss off

longwayoff · 12/07/2018 10:57

What? That's you displaying a sense of humour? Its worse than I thought, have some cake too.
