Does anyone know why Dele Alli has Dele and not Alli on his shirt?

I think it's a bit of a fashion for some players, but in his case, it's because he was adopted (or looked after) but kept his real name of Alli - but it's a name he feels no connection with, so chose to use 'Dele' - his Christian name.

I'm torn on Russia or Croatia. I think Croatia is the better team but if we play Russia their crowd support would be phenomenal.

Why am I worrying that the whole team will get a mysterious case of the shits if we play Russia?

Dele seems to have had a disrupted childhood. Sounds like it only settled when he was 13.

My team is Hull City so it was lovely to see how one of our old team has blossomed.

Thoroughly enjoyed it my late DH was looking forward to this year's world cup. So teary and cheery today. Russia will be contenders I think. The support will be phenomenal. I worry about our supporters over there. Some of the Russian fan clubs have a terrible reputation for violence according to my nephew. He was in Moscow last week for work and he said you could sense an atmosphere.

@frogface69 I have heard rumours that the Russian football fans have had clear instructions to be on their best behaviour during the world cup. All eyes are on Russia at the moment and they don't want anything damaging to happen.
