Pickford was excellent again today, grows with every game. Million times better than Joe Hart. So excited that they are in the semi's. I was 8 the last time that happened!

I feel like this team really have had the benefit of no one expecting much, lack of media attention. Not sure if it’s because I’m older but I barely know who any of the players are as they aren’t splashed all over the front pages regularly. They can come home with their heads high ideally after next Sunday!

I am, going for Croatia 3-1. Think Russia will (rightly) fancy their chances though.

We have two games to play either way as there is a match for the losing semi finalists to decide third and fourth place. It is the lack of chances from open play that needs to be sorted out and quickly. The team have done brilliantly for such a young squad that wasn't rated before the tournament, but to go on and actually win, we need to step up a couple of levels.
