I agree with Toffee, Croatia have been the better team in their past games so on that basis deserve it for me. Denmark underwhelming. Russia will fancy their chances though.

Messi's name was barely mentioned the whole game. There was two much focus on him and not the team.

I hate matches coming down to penalties but I guess there had to be a resolution somehow, just seems so heartbreaking

I think it comes from management too. Managers build their teams to pander to the stars, have an off day and it goes badly wrong. One of the reasons I like Southgate is he picks on performance not name.
