To want to play World Of Warcraft?

I used to play about 10 years ago. I miss it. Not sure I can bear to start all over again and not sure my PC is up to it.

I got a bit put off by other players being twats in a dungeon I was in. I'm not very good at it I levelled very slowly up to 60 something but I understand the level cap is now 110! Does anyone else play?

Make sure you do the new quest that boosts your artifact weapon to silly levels.

I've logged on a few times this week, my sub runs out tomorrow and I won't renew as I just stand about staring at nothing and then log off.

Well, I have no idea what I'm doing. Couldn't even remember how to take off, so my mount fell off a cliff and I landed in the sea. Managed to swim to shore and found some veiled caskets which seemed to have all kinds of artifact boosting goodies. Lots of basilisks which I killed easily. Had to log off quickly so literally ha E no idea where I am lol

Ha, where were you? If in the new zones - there's no flying until you jump through a billion hoops, do lots of quests, get rep etc. It's a quest called Pathfinder and there is two parts.

When BFA comes out, might be easier to make a community rather than a guild. (would have to have a horde one and an alliance one) then it would not matter what realm you were on.

DS was telling me yesterday about the plans for communities, that would be good for me because I've yet to come across anyone that plays on my realm (obviously except for DS)

GinBunnie is right, there is a quest line in Silithus which will boost all your Artifacts to max power! Probably worth doing before they come obsolete and it’s a build up to the expansion story as well.

I was playing on a really old laptop till recently.

Eventually got a new one, setting straight up to 10 and finally was able to have the new models on!!

It is like a whole new game.

Been addicted since The Burning Crusade :) Bar a 6 month break at the end of Cata when Swtor was released. Then back to WoW again. Actually sat going through tactics for a HC mode raid boss as I type this (I know what I'm doing ;) )

OMG I'm so glad someone rezzed this thread again :D How's everyone finding the changes to their classes since the pre-patch? My pala is mainly ok but a bit clunky now :(

My mage is ok, she was pretty well kitted.

My rogue I am struggling on, definitely feel weaker.

Also do not like I have to be windowed full screen. It causes me a few issues sometimes.

Anyone suggest a good but not horrendously expensive laptop I could treat myself to so I can play again? I'm getting itchy fingers!

Holy Pala is still pretty good, not really noticing too much of a difference.

Assassination Rogue is a little slow, but I've not taken her out for a spin in LFR or anything yet.

There are dozens of friendly guilds for older players, parents, females, etc, just got to find turn.

oh yeah - not sure why they got rid of it as a profession on its own.

I am 97/100 now on legion mining, but that last 60 points of mining have been horrible to get. Compared to herbalisim which was a breeze.

I played for 7 years stopping just before my DD was born in late 2014. Love to go back, but i'm not sure my computer would run it now and i feel out of my depth with all the new expansions that have come out since.
