To want to play World Of Warcraft?

I used to play about 10 years ago. I miss it. Not sure I can bear to start all over again and not sure my PC is up to it.

I got a bit put off by other players being twats in a dungeon I was in. I'm not very good at it Blush I levelled very slowly up to 60 something but I understand the level cap is now 110! Does anyone else play?

They made it so servers got "merged" a while back, so the first name is the actual name and the second one is the server name (guessing that's what you are referring to)

It's so different!! I think I might to have to get the full version so I can play my hunter. Or I might have to start again just to learn all the stuff.

Ooooh , a WoW thread! Excitement!

I've played on Earthen Ring since 2004 - I mostly do LFR / PVP and yes, there are still some twats on there. Mostly, because nowadays they have cross realm battlegroups you can just leave and rejoin another. Realms have merged (that's the double barrel name thing, it's your name then realm, a few will be all together on one server), there's a lesser role for RP and recognisible communities, tbh. Oooh and PET BATTLES with extremely CUTE PETS...

Hint: you will get quicker queues for LFR/LFG if you are tank or healer.

Getting around is quicker - teleporting is fab, but admittedly the world is bigger too, lots of extra places - and another expansion too. WB!

I used to be on Draenor on alliance side since vanilla, but early days of MoP we moved to Silvermoon.

I haven't played in a few months but I am on a role-playing server called Argent Dawn. Gonna get my sub reinstated after reading this thread! Anyone wants someone to play with add Kadena#21686. I also play hearthstone!

I think they released or are releasing the vanilla servers for nostalgia purposes. That could be worth a shot.

Between WoW and FFXIV though then I honestly think FFXIV is the better game. However you get asshole players in both. Usually as a tank or healer as whenever there’s a fuck up it’s always one or both that gets the blame.

Play DPS and go casual, FFXIV is more geared for that.

Oooh, yes I play. I have about 8 level 110 characters on Magtheridon horde side. I have played since BC and have actively raided pretty much every expansion. I am on a break now though until pre patch as I got a bit burnt out.

I really enjoy it as my down time hobby. It's so different to my day life as a SAHM so I love just absorbing myself into a different world once the kids are in bed.

I've met the best bunch of people in game over the years, we all hang out still even though most have quit the game.

Happy times.

Noooooo.....I used to be a healer. I'm hiding the thread right now. Enjoy, you crazy people. I wasted literally hundreds of hours on that game. Never again. Grin (But I loved it at the time!)

I've been playing since Christmas. The dwarf warrior has been parked in the order hall for the last couple of days while I play with my new panda healer. I have to say that so far I prefer hitting things with a big axe.

It all seems to be running well now its all downloaded. Just need to buy the new expansions and a month of play and I'm away. Dd2 appearedast night and said brilliant that's my summer sorted Hmm
