...starting at 12 o clock from Pall Mall.

(Piccadilly, Green Park and Charing Cross station are the nearest tubes.)

I voted Leave. I would vote Leave again.

Are most brexitteers on board with Marcus's analysis:

Leave the EU. No industry. Fewer jobs - and this will screw the M/C far more than the W/c

Is this general leaver thinking?

Helmetbymidnight · 23/06/2018 16:22

Lefties on the march

What makes you think they were lefties?

kalapattar · 23/06/2018 16:25

We do a LOT of trade with the EU.
We have a LOT of supply chains with the EU - and they with us.

Of course, there might be a practical solution to ensure the supply chains aren't fucked up at the few ports that are used to ferry goods to and fro across the Channel.

Or the supply chains might just move to Europe and stay there.

siwel123 · 23/06/2018 16:26

The march wasn't all so called lefties. People from all over he political spectrum were there

siwel123 · 23/06/2018 16:31

Apparently there was a counter march?

JacquesHammer · 23/06/2018 16:35

Apparently there was a counter march

Again, it was like Brexit bingo with some of the quotes including:-

"That march is silly. We voted to leave so we should leave”

And

I'm on this march because I am a patriot

HOUSE!!

mozzybites · 23/06/2018 16:36

If we hadn't already left the UK for a few years while this chaos plays out my DH would have gone, he is a Thatcher admirer and definitely not a lefty. It isn't a left/right issue, the leaders of both main political parties want it for totally different reasons.

Jb291 · 23/06/2018 16:40

Hope everything at the march was peaceful and hope you had good weather for it

sonlypuppyfat · 23/06/2018 16:41

I voted to leave, I won. Tough.

Childrenofthesun · 23/06/2018 16:42

The march was great. I've been on a few of the anti-Brexit marches and this was the biggest turnout yet. Very peaceful as always.

lalalonglegs · 23/06/2018 16:50

Here are some of the left-wing rabble-rousers spoiling the march for everyone.

...to remind people about today's march against Brexit
surferjet · 23/06/2018 16:53

Why is everyone on the march middle aged?

Where are all the angry young people who’ve had their future stolen?

JacquesHammer · 23/06/2018 16:58

What are you basing “everyone” on?! That one picture posted above?

Have a look on twitter. There’s 1000s of images of people from children to the elderly

Helmetbymidnight · 23/06/2018 16:59

MN brexiteers like to pretend remainers are all lefties. It’s weird because if they opened their eyes they would know it’s a cross party issue.

Childrenofthesun · 23/06/2018 16:59

There were people of all ages - more young people than I've seen before. And as for lefties, one of the most prominent chants today was "Where's Jeremy Corbyn?" There was also rapturous applause when Tony Robinson laid into Corbyn and his lamentable Brexit policy.

surferjet · 23/06/2018 17:01

Sky news.
I watched 10 minutes of it earlier & everyone was over 40. Apart from a few bored looking kids who’d been dragged along obviously.

twofingerstoEverything · 23/06/2018 17:02

I doubt it will make the news
this is especially for islaboots. Bless her.
No. it definitely won't make the news.
definitely not
not here either
Let's not forget all the local rallies that were taking place today either.

@surferjet

A whole 10 minutes? Yup you’ve definitely seen everyone on the march Hmm

A cursory search on social media shows a much wider range.

Metoodear · 23/06/2018 17:03

Yes let’s have a do over

Let’s keep voting until we get the result the elite want Hmm

Not going to happen

Moussemoose · 23/06/2018 17:03

I voted to leave, I won. Tough

Ah yes the Brexit fondness for debate, democracy and sovereignty.

And again......that is not how U.K. democracy works.

lalalonglegs · 23/06/2018 17:03

I have no idea on what your basing your claim that everyone there was middle-aged. Plenty of people there of all ages from babies to the 96-year-old WW2 veteran who led the march including loads of under-30s. There were lots of people in their 50s/60s too - I imagine they want to distance themselves from the rest of their cohort who (allegedly) are such enthusiastic supporters of this shitshow.

Moussemoose · 23/06/2018 17:05

Boris Johnson totally not elite. Definitely a member of the oppressed working class along with his oppressed mates Farage and Reece Mogg.

Working class hero's the lot of them.

Good grief.

Bombardier25966 · 23/06/2018 17:08

I voted to leave, I won. Tough.

You didn't. HTH.

JacquesHammer · 23/06/2018 17:08

*Yes let’s have a do over

Not going to happen*

It’s probably better to understand a subject before making bizarre claims.

Bombardier25966 · 23/06/2018 17:11

Let’s keep voting until we get the result the elite want

You misunderstand. The elite will prosper whatever happens, as they have the means to move assets as they wish. Those that will suffer most oddly enough tend to be Brexit supporters, still sat there thinking their mates Tommeh and Nige will save them.
