Mini and reduced size flurries start next week. And no more sundaes after September.

Get your fill now while you can 😂😂😂

Go to Wimpy, problem solved.

QuestionableMouse · 25/06/2018 15:19

They're not meant to be mixed by hand, but it does happen, especially if it's really busy because it can be quite time consuming to do. (I had 6 on an order last night. 8 seconds each when you have nine pending orders and people are waiting for their drink/ice cream soon adds up)

What?! No more toffee sundaes?
We need to do something 😭

RJnomore1 · 25/06/2018 17:17

I started my own protest by going for one at lunch time. I intend to keep this up as often as possible until September 🐽

Why do they mix them by hand in the UK?!

MissMooMoo We don’t. We have a flurry machine that we’re supposed to mix them in for 6 seconds (very recently changed, it was 8 seconds), but when it’s busy and you have a lot of Flurries on, you just don’t have time, so they either don’t get flurried or get a quick whip round with a hand.

Jesus Christ, I'd rather sacrifice an arm than the toffee sundae. What are they thinking?

Madonnasmum · 25/06/2018 20:50

I love a toffee Sunday. Back in the day it used to come with chopped nuts. Yummy.

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 26/06/2018 02:08

I tried a toffee sundae yesterday. Wow they use a lot of toffee sauce in them. I expected a drizzle over the top of the icecream, not for a third of the tub to be toffee! Very nice though...

BrendasUmbrella They’re not meant to have that much sauce in them. Toffee sundaes should only have three lines going round the cup diagonally, and strawberry sauce two lines. Then a bit on top.

Just like we have an issue with crew overfilling Flurries and Sundaes, we also have an issue with them giving too much sauce.

What are they thinking?

DonutCone That they’re not that popular, it costs more to get all the extras for them than the profit made on them, and leads to wastage due to the first point.

I need to hide this thread before I drive to McDonalds and buy a toffee sundae for breakfast Grin

MissMooMoo · 27/06/2018 12:56

I don't think I have ever had one mixed in a flurry machine at my local mcd.
I will need to go at a quiet time Smile
