I'm not surprised at any of this shit. I worked with ICE agents (then known as INS) and they seemed to have that chip on shoulder, big ego, mentality. Like, "Yeah, I'm bad, I'm a COP, suckers. Respect the BADGE". I never encountered that with any other Fed law enforcement and I worked with them all ATF, FBI, SS, etc. All very professional. But INS? Real attitude.
Fun story: I had professional interaction with a CIA agent not relating to his job, but other govt business and he represented himself to me as working for another (innocuous) agency. After he left and I started to do what needed to be done, his official records in our system made no sense to me so I flagged it to my manager to be checked out. Neither of us realized that CIA has a department that handles ALL business related to agents. Ended up about 48 hours later everything off my computer related to him disappeared and my manager and I were 'visited' and officially informed that we were to tell no one it had ever existed. Nor to tell anyone in the office the purpose of the visit.
But I'm retired now, so heck with 'em.
