All they seem to represent us keeping the rich, rich and the poor, poor. There doesn't seem to be that many rich people so why do they get so many votes?

Who else should I vote for? Corbyn? Fuck off Lib dem? Bunch of bloody pansies There is no viable alternative.

^ This

I didn’t want to vote Tory, I thought I never would but I wasn’t left with any alternative.

TammySwansonTwo · 20/06/2018 19:30

You can post whatever the fuck you want, it’s a separate topic isn’t it? Excellent attempt at deflection though.

As I’ve said repeatedly, I did not support Blair, I in no way condone the Iraq War, but do you honestly think the tories wouldn’t have gotten involved? If so, you’re delusional.

Do you think the tories could have prevented the global financial crisis, which originated in another country, the result of Thatcher and Reagan’s policies?

As for no one else to vote for, don’t give me that. I would spoil my ballot or not vote at all before voting for the tories. Of course there are viable alternatives - Labour won 40% of the vote nationally. If you think the tories are a better option than Corbyn then I have no idea what planet you live on, frankly.

NoNotheresnolyrics · 20/06/2018 19:32

Currently I’ve acutally got a lot of respect for people who don’t vote. Why vote for any of the party’s if you actively despise them.

I vote green but I’m well aware they can’t count. 😂

NoNotheresnolyrics · 20/06/2018 19:42

Cattenberg I always have the parody version in my head but I can’t remember who did the parody 😂😂 it’s my life mission to find out! Spitting image/ French and Saunders sounds about right x

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 19:47

Gottagetmoving

I know fuck all about Corbyn?

Let me see!! He’s consistently voted against his own party policies. He supported IRA terrorists, he supports the mysogynistic gender self ID, he allows bullying and intimidation throughout his party and is clearly anti senetic.

He has no moral code except the ‘I will protest about everything.

He’s a thin skinned spineless coward and appears to have a very big ego thinking he can run a country when he has in fact never run a union, council, department or had any managerial or gonernnent experience.

He’s a career politician living a comfy life and quite happy to jump on any bandwagon he thinks may be ‘cool’ and ‘edgy’

He doesn’t give a shiny shite about the party or his country. Never did and never will.

Spineless windbag.

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 19:52

Topcat

I think if you don’t understand that immigration has been a huge factor in Brexit respectfully go north of Watford.

London is not a micro bubble of England as a whole even if some posh rich Londoners think it is.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 20/06/2018 19:56

How do you think a coroner would prove that a suicide was related to the DWP unless a letter was left to that effect?

The simple answer is that they can't - and yet, ironically, all those who insist "these policies have killed thousands" seem to feel they know better. Perhaps they don't understand that correlation isn't the same as causation?

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 20:01

Tammy

Why don’t you answer this!

Why do you support labour fielding a leader who is unelectable?

If you care so much why don’t you support a leader who can win elections and change tory policies??

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 20:04

Tammy I did not support Blaire

Blaire did actually win elections you know for labour!

You do realise that to change things you first have to get elected? That’s how it works. That’s how you change things not by weeping about ‘thousands dying’ on the internet.

Atthebottomofthesea · 20/06/2018 20:07

Jumped to the end but the choice isn't great. JC is dividing the LP. I know lots of staunch labor voters who won't vote Labour whilst he is in power. My local MP is now Tory, tbh he seems to be doing a good job in the area. If I wasn't moving out of his area I would probably vote for him, the local LP have a habit of just swooping in randoms to stand.

I disagree with so much of the Tory party but also so so much of Labour. Better the devil you know sometimes.

UC is a shit storm though as is PIP.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 20/06/2018 20:16

I just watched Theresa May win another day of successful votes on Brexit. That's one reason I vote Tory, she is getting on with the business of leaving the EU and all of Labours attempts to stop it are falling on Barren ground.

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 20:28

I am a labour voter! Not a chance in hell while Corbyn is in charge.

Fucking ridiculous. Momentum/militant tendency and we are back to the 80s.

They were nasty bastards then and nasty bastards now.

malificent7 · 20/06/2018 20:50

I stand by my conviction that the way the Tories treat the disabled is reminiscent of Nazi Germany. Couple that with increasing nationalism and xenophobia , scapegoating of the vulnerable and goodness knows where it will all end.

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 20:53

Malificient

Are you a Labour Party member that voted for Corbyn? If yes then never mind the end it started with you.

If not who do you think can win an election?

SweetSummerchild · 20/06/2018 21:04

I stand by my conviction that the way the Tories treat the disabled is reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

You are entitled to that opinion. I am entitled to think you are wrong.

I’m basing my opinion on mine and my family’s experiences of being disabled under both tory and the last labour governments.

Some people choose who to vote for based on more than just disability benefits. However, I did look at the Labour party’s manifesto pledges on disability other than those which related to benefits. It was a load of fluff and nonsense and not worth the paper it was written on.

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 21:15

Malificient

So disabled people routinely gassed, shot and sterilised in Britain today by the government.

You know you really should be ashamed of yourself for bringing in the horrific genocide of targeted groups By the Nazis into this discussion.

You should apologise and get this awful disgraceful comment deleted.

Vicky1990 · 20/06/2018 21:33

Google Jeremy Corbyn and the IRA.
Have a read about what the nasty little shit is really like.

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 21:38

every defeat of the British state by the IRA is a victory for the British people

Dianne Abbott, shadow home sec.

You couldn’t make it up really

auntiebasil · 20/06/2018 21:39

You clearly know sod all about Nazi Germany. It's like that idiot Jeff Sessions saying that Nazi concentration camps were for people who didn't leave the country. God almighty!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 20/06/2018 21:48

I’m basing my opinion on mine and my family’s experiences of being disabled under both tory and the last labour governments

So am I, Summerchild; I have a disabled son myself and don't doubt that, according to some on here, my voting Tory last time was tantamount to writing him off. Perhaps inconveniently, though, the best experiences I've had of education, social service and other local agencies have all hapened when they were managed by a conservative council

I'm not deaf to the good talk Labour produces around these matters, but IME it simply doesn't translate into action. Once elected, all they've ever done is throw away cash on empire building and vanity projects while whining endlessly about the effect of "Tory cuts"

Kursk · 20/06/2018 21:49

I stand by my conviction that the way the Tories treat the disabled is reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

Hitler was a socialist

Ohmydayslove · 20/06/2018 21:57

I hope your excuse for your disgraceful remarks are young Malificient although my youngest at 19 would be shocked by your ignorance and distasteful post.

Justanotherlurker · 20/06/2018 21:58

Hitler was a socialist

to wonder why anyone votes tory?
Puzzledandpissedoff · 20/06/2018 22:01

Diane Abbott: every defeat of the British state by the IRA is a victory for the British people

It's actually even worse than that. We all say things we'd rather weren't remembered, but invited by Andrew Marr much later to express regret for her comment, the best Diane could manage was "I've moved on"

And this from the woman who hopes to be in charge of our national security ...

Cattenberg · 20/06/2018 22:05

The Nazis might have called themselves socialists, but they're generally considered to be on the far-right.

In othe news, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea isn't actually a democracy.
