@CadyHeron the S&B threads were so long ago I can't really remember. I think it started off about DMBL40 and other fashion and beauty bloggers not declaring gifts or using #ad.

A link was made to a parallel discussion re instagram that was in chat or AIBU which is how I ended up on these,

The only thing I've been genuinely puzzled about and can't work out how or why they did it was when MP requested to follow me on insta. I have a very small, private insta account, I've never linked to it on here. I already followed MP but had for months.

I've been on loads of previous insta threads, MP was on one then requested to follow me. Turned out she'd also requested to follow a few others off the threads. How did she know who we are on insta?!

What is most disturbing is that people's reputations are being harmed unnecessarily. It's one thing to properly discuss ethics, it's another thing altogether to set out to destroy other people.

All the paranoia, the "I know who you are" sleuthing..... it's all on a scale of fucking batshit.

I don't agree a lot of the time with cady or Sofia. But it's getting dull accusing them of some sort of conspiracy. They just happen to have the same viewpoint which is quite a normal situation. Plenty of others on here share the same viewpoint in contrast to theirs so why is it an issue. Plus the age old are they an instamum thing. Does it matter? Maybe an instamum does want to come on here under a pseudonym to discuss this.

@Madame I can't fathom your post. Why are those screenshots 'odd'? I totally agree with Laura for calling out social injustice on Instagram and others going along with it. If more people did that instead of idly stand by the world would be a better place. If she gets a bit of insta fame for being a good egg and pointing out shit behaviour, great.

(And no I don't see all of what she comments on etc but what I have seen has been fair)

You're right, it is, it's beyond ridiculous. I wouldn't respond half as much if I wasn't responding to utter fuckwittery aimed at me,that I'm clearly just supposed to shut up and take and not respond to.

I agree Cady. The personal gripes are overtaking the interesting stuff being said. If I don't agree with someone on here I don't feel the need to start pecking at them. These are forums for discussion, it's anonymous, and it's the wrong place for someone to be who can't accept that others think differently to them.

Ok fair enough @cadyheron the whole thread is now so totally incoherent and off track that it's hard to know who's said what. But to be fair your argument seemed to be quite bonkers to me, regarding the vegan/religion aspect you put forward. The bizarre thing is that all now seems quite normal in light of the way discussion has gone!

I'm confused? Are you talking about two instamums? Do you know them?

The two people I’m thinking of are on IG, yes. Not ‘instamums’ (I wouldn’t say anyway) but relatively sizeable followings & in instamum networks.

We can name names lifeis nothing worse than when it all gets a bit cryptic/vague, I want to keep up!
