It’s a bit of an unusual colour choice for someone conservative.

OP posts:
Meandyouandyouandme · 15/06/2018 14:26

She wears bright colours so people can see her, and maybe lime is her favourite, I think she always looks great.

SpitefulMidLifeAnimal · 15/06/2018 14:28

Perhaps she's had her colours done, whatever that means. Having said that, I do believe that a woman of 92, royal or not, should wear any colour she damn well pleases.

ElspethFlashman · 15/06/2018 14:28

She wears fluorescent colours so she can be seen from a distance. It's an Angela Kelly initiative.

Gottagetmoving · 15/06/2018 14:29

But she doesn't always, does she?

blueskypink · 15/06/2018 14:34

Of course she's not always in lime green. What an odd thing to say!

hungryhippie · 15/06/2018 14:36

yabu, maybe she just likes green?

FizzyGreenWater · 15/06/2018 14:38

Flattering on the skin.

And she needs to be seen from a distance as she is the Grand PooBah

ShutUpBaz · 15/06/2018 14:39

She wore lime green in tribute to the Grenfell disaster.
Agree with pp though, its well known that she wears very bright colours do she can be seen. I think she always looks fabulous! Wish I could rock those colours like Her Majesty!

butterfly990 · 15/06/2018 14:41

I wondered for both of the weddings if she did it on purpose as a "green screen". She does look good in green as well.

AveABanana · 15/06/2018 14:41

Perhaps there's some green screen effects machine going somewhere.

Fabricwitch · 15/06/2018 14:41

YABU. Bright colours suit her skin, and she's the queen

jay55 · 15/06/2018 14:45

I think she looks like she’s been having fun wearing brighter clothes.

gracielacey · 15/06/2018 14:46

I think it looks great on her. I'd wear lime green too if I could pull it off!

KioraAdora · 15/06/2018 14:48

They said on the news that it was for Grenfell. Yesterday was green for Grenfell. Children and teachers had green sashes on as well.

KioraAdora · 15/06/2018 14:49

Also Grenfell Tower was lit up in green yesterday.

Gottagetmoving · 15/06/2018 14:49

Of course she's not always in lime green. What an odd thing to say!

It would be odd if OP hadn't said she always is. 😒

ThreeIsACharm · 15/06/2018 14:50

I am pretty sure i read somewhere her favourite colour is line green.
My wee gran always like her in lilac though Smile

MrsJayy · 15/06/2018 14:50

She wore green for grenfell the other day the news said. The queen is tiny she is in her 90s a bit stooped she stands out if she wears bright colours I think she looked great green seems to be her colour of the moment

JurassicAdventure · 15/06/2018 14:50

So if her lizard form shows through its camoflaged.

Toddlerteaplease · 15/06/2018 14:51

I just hope she does t forget to pay her toll fro driving over the Mersey Gateway bridge. She's got till midnight tonight. GrinGrinGrin

MrsJayy · 15/06/2018 14:52

I think muted colours would be lost on her these days.

Toddlerteaplease · 15/06/2018 14:52

She looks great in anything!

shiklah · 15/06/2018 14:53

She wears muted colours in private but bright colours in public because she knows a lot of people will have come to see her and she might be a long way away.

Amanduh · 15/06/2018 14:54

Sometimes she wears green because she likes green

shiklah · 15/06/2018 14:54

Also avoids anything 'political' and Green for Grenfell yesterday.
