If a man gets attacked- verbally - by his grown daughter to an extent that they lose contact - daughter refuses to talk about it and wont return his calls - and man ask his famìly to interfere and talk to daughter and they all refuse - is og Wrong to Feel upset with famìly? Is it normal to Say- not my daughter so not my problem ??

It does seem to have been triggered by the holiday house episode, she's getting her own back for not being able to use it.

She sounds immature and entitled. It doesn't sound like however your husband dealt with having another family, it would have made any difference. She sounds jealous that she has to to share his affections with another child. Was she his only child, or only daughter, before your DD was born?
Yet she was happy enough to have him pay for holidays and meals out. She's cut her nose off to spite her face.

Give it time. Once the holiday house has been sold, being able to use it or not will be a moot point, and when she's no longer having free holidays, she might well come back.

You do understand that this is his daughter? She didn’t make herself a new family, he made himself a new family.

He is entitled to move on with his life and doesn’t have to stay single for ever. But it does seem like she thinks he needs to value their relationship as a father/daughter more, not just as two adults.

She misused his holiday home 13 years ago and he has never let her back since?? She was a teenager, what a weird grudge.
