AIBU staying in a facebook group?

I have had a quick name change!

I'm a member of a large facebook group for natural parents who are also science aware. This group has been a fantastic resource and support network but its all gone wrong. The people running the page all have their own issues and are ganging up on other members for what seems like no reason.

I have thought long and hard about leaving the group because it seems like playground bullying but i just cant seem to do it.

They are great when you need your hand holding and will help you with any problem you could think of. They have a fantastic support network of Nutella addicts and people with difficulties like ADHD and depression I'm not sure there there is a better community.

BUT posting in it can be like stepping onto a nest of vipers. People having mental health problems can be kicked out for no good reason OR supported with people being sent round to check on them or taxis being called and paid for by the group when fleeing a husband. It just depends if you are in with the right crowd or not.

There are many LGBTQ members and there are a lot who are in relationships or who have experimented with eachother and this is causing tension on the group.

I cant seem to leave but i can't seem to stay and I don't even know these people in real life.

How had no one mentioned the live hair threads??

I'm obviously a member, but pretend I'm not. For funzies.

I don't quite know what to make of this thread but it's amusing me! I want to see this group but alas, I can't find it.

Though it may be possible that only those in the circle know, everyone else has no need to know because they are not in the circle.

Some people say that children can't be vegan, because children come from eggs, and eggs are not vegan, no matter what anyone might tell you.

However, as you are not eating your children (and no, placenta is not vegan either, just because it is a byproduct doesn't mean it's ok to eat it), this doesn't present a serious ethical difficulty.

Most parents start feeding their children on carrot sticks and other vegetables, so ALL babies are vegan (note that breastmilk is vegan IF the mother is also vegan, but cows' milk can never be vegan because of the pus mixed in, even though cows themselves feed only on wheatgrass).

There is nothing natural about going on from carrot sticks to meat products. Instead we introduce our children to (non-GMO) seitan. A child who loves seitan will never go on to kill or murder animals and/or humans

Well, I've been a vegetarian most of my life, but I decided that I wouldn't foist my beliefs on my children. I would let them come to a considered decision when they were old enough, and just set them an example by remaining true to myself. As a result I now have 3 dc who are totally committed carnivores C'est la vie! (But they do love Nutella).
