AIBU to be upset about a facebook group

AIBU staying in a facebook group?

I have had a quick name change!

I'm a member of a large facebook group for natural parents who are also science aware. This group has been a fantastic resource and support network but its all gone wrong. The people running the page all have their own issues and are ganging up on other members for what seems like no reason.

I have thought long and hard about leaving the group because it seems like playground bullying but i just cant seem to do it.

They are great when you need your hand holding and will help you with any problem you could think of. They have a fantastic support network of Nutella addicts and people with difficulties like ADHD and depression I'm not sure there there is a better community.

BUT posting in it can be like stepping onto a nest of vipers. People having mental health problems can be kicked out for no good reason OR supported with people being sent round to check on them or taxis being called and paid for by the group when fleeing a husband. It just depends if you are in with the right crowd or not.

There are many LGBTQ members and there are a lot who are in relationships or who have experimented with eachother and this is causing tension on the group.

I cant seem to leave but i can't seem to stay and I don't even know these people in real life.

I think I'm getting Dentinox confused with Entonox.

DarkDarkNight · 13/06/2018 23:35

Twilight Zone on here tonight.

Yes to some of the sccandi clothes groups being a bit out there. Just not the ones I’m on Hmm

UpstartCrow · 13/06/2018 23:36

Is cradle cap vegan?

Not if you eat it.

Georgesmumwantscoffee · 13/06/2018 23:37

Genuinely can't tell if Caitlyn is parody. I used to be in SANP though and there was no vegan insanity in my day

Weedsnseeds1 · 13/06/2018 23:37

Caitlyn is actually correct about eggs - sort of.
The hatch rate is 49% male, 51% female for laying hens. The males are either gassed or macerated as they don't lay eggs.
Growth rate has nothing to do with it as broilers and layers are different breeds.
If you raise a few birds at home, no reason not to rear layer cockerels to a decent weight for slaughter, but it's not commercially viable.
The anti-inflammatory dairy stuff is ... Ummmm
Possibly more relevant to USA than Europe.
Cattle aren't fed on wheat grass.
Milk isn't made of puss.
Animals are withdrawn from milking if receiving veterinary medicine.
Bovine Somatatrophine isn't legal here and is routinely tested for.
"Puss" is due to mastitis. Somatic cell counts are taken for milk pre-processing.
Humans are actually largely composed of animal protein. You could probably eliminate it by, I don't know, cremation or something. That would reduce you to mainly inorganic compounds for sure...

niugboo · 13/06/2018 23:37

@tornfromtheinside not far from it! Careful though she will do you for racism.

TornFromTheInside · 13/06/2018 23:38

Also, WHAT THE FUCK DID BARBARA DO?

We don't mention her... she's excommunicated

Is it just me has MissusGeneHunt's post got bulls that turn almost immediately transform into cows? Could this be a symbol of the new gender-fluid world we live in?

When man turns into woman, woman into men and bullocks into cows?

Studies has shown that MANY animals are transgender and/or gender fluid, but never in such a large mammal as the cow! Is this the result of wifi router on top of the cowshed? Or is there some other explanation!?

callkiki · 13/06/2018 23:40

Never had Nutella and made myself a cup of hot chocolate with whippy cream to read this and now confused as to whether the instant chocolate has processed puss milk or the whippy cream is made from puss milk or fake puss milk or?????

Sorry, can't join any new cults as I belong to the competition or "comper" cults and while no swinging, it can be amusing to see someone write a Facebook essay on how winning a Snickers bar will change their life forever :)

TornFromTheInside · 13/06/2018 23:41

inorganic compounds

Is that when the cult HQ needs a new pipe organ?

OutsideContextProblem · 13/06/2018 23:41

“Admins doing adminning” is one of the stranger euphemisms I’ve heard on here.

TornFromTheInside · 13/06/2018 23:42

We've been talking bullocks for most of this thread.

CaitlynsCat · 13/06/2018 23:43

I managed to capture the gender-fluid cattle in action. The bull changes into a cow! There is no doubt about it!

I blame inadequate EMF shielding on the cow shed.

Barbara black sheep

Oh my god. Actual loling.

You made me shmear nutella on my robe.

TornFromTheInside · 13/06/2018 23:45

At least someone got it!

Georgesmumwantscoffee · 13/06/2018 23:46

Weeds I completely agree with Caitlyn on the hens, being vegetarian for animal welfare reasons makes zero sense to me; but can confirm I've never seen random vegan cut n paste propaganda on SANP.

WatcherintheRye · 13/06/2018 23:46

Milk isn't made of puss.

Is that supposed to be pus? Puss and pus - two very different things as far as I'm aware, but I'm prepared to be enlightened even more than I already have been!

CadyHeron · 13/06/2018 23:47

Talk like that could get us removed at any mome...

TornFromTheInside · 13/06/2018 23:49

The most worrying aspect of this thread is the few who are still offering serious input.
They need intervention.

CadyHeron · 13/06/2018 23:50

Oh FFS,what is this group? Can someone pleeez tell me the name as I can't seem to find it. Grin

OkMaybeNot · 13/06/2018 23:50

SQUARE; ASSEMBLE.

TornFromTheInside · 13/06/2018 23:51

Okmaybe's got the right angle on this.

ConciseandNice · 13/06/2018 23:52

Damn I’m always late to a party! Confused

MildredSparkles · 13/06/2018 23:53

This reminds me of the derek acorah closed Facebook group I joined to avoid writing an essay. Derek posted one night whilst in the grip of the spirits and one of the admins had a heart attack. Drama is not the word.
