AIBU staying in a facebook group?

I have had a quick name change!

I'm a member of a large facebook group for natural parents who are also science aware. This group has been a fantastic resource and support network but its all gone wrong. The people running the page all have their own issues and are ganging up on other members for what seems like no reason.

I have thought long and hard about leaving the group because it seems like playground bullying but i just cant seem to do it.

They are great when you need your hand holding and will help you with any problem you could think of. They have a fantastic support network of Nutella addicts and people with difficulties like ADHD and depression I'm not sure there there is a better community.

BUT posting in it can be like stepping onto a nest of vipers. People having mental health problems can be kicked out for no good reason OR supported with people being sent round to check on them or taxis being called and paid for by the group when fleeing a husband. It just depends if you are in with the right crowd or not.

There are many LGBTQ members and there are a lot who are in relationships or who have experimented with eachother and this is causing tension on the group.

I cant seem to leave but i can't seem to stay and I don't even know these people in real life.

@TattyFrench

😂😂

I am absolutely still none the wiser but for a Thursday this is brilliant entertainment

TornFromTheInside · 14/06/2018 21:39

Nutella is a lubricant - I'll leave it at that.

TornFromTheInside · 14/06/2018 21:40

and it seems if your tongue can reach the bottom of a Nutella jar, then....

you'll never waste a drop of it.

TattyFrench · 14/06/2018 21:44

I'm currently drinking wine from a Nutella glass while The Rabbit tries to mate my arm and The Dog tried to mate The Rabbit. It's tiresome to say the least.

TornFromTheInside · 14/06/2018 21:48

I think Tatty is almost like a living work of surrealist art.
A woman who drinks wine from a Nutella jar is without doubt nuttier than a fruitcake, and that's no bad thing.

TattyFrench · 14/06/2018 22:03

I call this 'Wine, Nutella jar and Flowers'. Mixed medium. £800.^
^
It's the only reason I buy the stuff, I don't even eat it. I scoop it out and put it in the bin to get the jar for my wine.

@TattyFrench were you in the cult & have now been disfellowshipped? Wink

Lethaldrizzle · 14/06/2018 22:23

I thought everyone drunk wine from nutella jars

user1510568216 · 14/06/2018 22:32

I let my LO watch Antonella the uncensored reviewer do a Nutella challenge & she can't even look at it now. Kept all the old jars for glasses & she refuses to drink from them because it makes her feel "a little bit sick". Honestly can't blame her. Smile

TattyFrench · 14/06/2018 22:33

User I can't answer that for security reasons.

Lethaldrizzle so did I! That is the reason they make the small jars like, well, like glasses. Despite the fact it's made from puss, and is helping to kill orangutangs and donkeys, it's a good bit of recycling. Between my glass milk bottles and Nutella I havn't bought a drinking glass in years.

user1510568216 · 14/06/2018 22:34

@TattyFrench understood Wink

WeeDangerousSpike · 14/06/2018 22:42

Tatty my Nutella glasses don't look like yours, yours are rounder and nicer are they new or old?

I saw Boysey last weekend. He was signing books. No one wanted any, he looked bored.

TattyFrench · 14/06/2018 22:54

WeeDangerousSpike they're the smaller jars, 200g ones. They're the ones they still sell now.

Before and after.

I nearly did myself a mischief laughing at the real Trigger warning GrinGrinGrin

Bet he loved Nutella. And DENTINOX.

HotelRedFace · 14/06/2018 23:30

I read this thread at 4.15 this morning whilst drifting in and out of sleep and when I woke back up properly at 7 I was convinced that the whole thing was a dream.

It sort of hung around in the back of my mind all day and so I've just ended up going back through my internet history to find it and then I've re-read it from the start.

And it is still just as surreal as it was in the early hours of the morning! I still have no idea what is going on, but thank you for all the laughs. Grin

WeeDangerousSpike · 14/06/2018 23:49

Thanks Tatty Smile

Panda81 · 14/06/2018 23:53

This thread is fucking bonkers.

I'm not a member of SANP - however, I am a member of another group with a NuttyElla admin who has similar rules to what I'm reading on here, and who went a bit crazy a couple of months ago, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same person. I NEED TO KNOW!!!

RosemaryHoight · 14/06/2018 23:57

Barbara black sheep

Sillylittlemunchkin · 15/06/2018 10:02

It would be interesting to see just how much the admin of SANP has earned in collections from this and the various other facebook pages that they are in.

FizzyGreenWater · 15/06/2018 13:02

I'm not a member of SANP but I'd really like to be a member of SAF (Snapped And Farted) - would someone please set this group up asap?

HairFullOfSecrets · 15/06/2018 14:58

@Sillylittlemunchkin easily over a thousand ££££. Often in the form of 'I can't pay my bills' one week so have a whip round, be sent gifts, loans...then the following week posting pictures of expensive purchases and nights out.

But we can never question the integrity of the supreme leader. The leader is good, the leader is great, we surrender our will as of this date.

TornFromTheInside · 15/06/2018 16:08

NuttyElla is spread, long live the Queen

Sillylittlemunchkin · 15/06/2018 16:26

@hairfullofsecrets thats crazy! I wonder what the benifits office would say about that! Does that make admining SANP a paid position?

TornFromTheInside · 15/06/2018 19:05

Did we ever actually get to the bottom of what a 'science aware' parent was?

And if one is not a member of their group, are we to assume they consider us unaware of science?

Scienceawarenaturalparent · 15/06/2018 23:13

A natural parent is easily branwashed and with enough disposable income to donate generous sums whenever called by the mentaly unstable modmin team. A NP must worship at the feet of the modmin and our omnipotent leader. Regular offerings to ensures access to the inner sanctum.

A natural parent modmin has many issues but must be obeyed and must not be out done. Their problems must be the worst and anyone with better problems must go.
