They’re especially wonderful if they were born in 1969 Grin

I do love the name and yes, the woman I know called Joanna is fabulous. But she was born in 1955. Sorry!

DCs childminder is a Joanna, and she is indeed wonderful - Ofsted agree as she got an outstanding rating recently, so it must be true!

MrsJacksonBrodieTheSecond · 02/06/2018 21:33

Wasn’t there a Joanna the Mad?

ScreamingValenta · 02/06/2018 21:38

MrsJacksonBrodieTheSecond Yes, she was married to Philip I. She probably wasn't really mad.

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 02/06/2018 21:39

I have three Joanna's in my life and they're all fabulous!

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 02/06/2018 21:39

None born in 1969 though!

DizzyBeeme · 02/06/2018 21:44

My polish cleaner is called Joanna - she is fabulous and a great person x

IrnBruTortie · 02/06/2018 21:46

I work with a Johanna, and she is utterly amazing. She's a newer / less experienced member of staff but she has taught me so much, without even trying. And a pretty great person too. I don't think I know any Joannas (I was at school with at least one before I was 10 and I remember she was nice, then we moved, and I dont think I've met any since). But yes, Johanna / Joanna s are great!

Sharkwithknees · 02/06/2018 21:48

I only know one Joanna. Heroin addict Blush

MadisonAvenue · 02/06/2018 21:49

I was born in 1969, and if you change one letter in my name it'd be Joanna.

NerdyBird · 02/06/2018 21:50

It's one of my middle names. I wasn't born in 1969 though. Do I still count?

user1471530109 · 02/06/2018 21:51

Joanna was the midwife who helped me for hours and hours give birth to my first.

Joanne is my exSIL. Let's say the a to e makes a huge fucking difference.

Cynara · 02/06/2018 21:53

I only know one Joanna, but she's the kindest, funniest, most honest and supportive woman I know. So yes, Joannas are fabulous!

AnneLovesGilbert · 02/06/2018 21:54

I’ve never met one! Wish I had.

9amTrain · 02/06/2018 21:55

YANBU actually!

DamsonGin · 02/06/2018 21:58

I have to put a downer on this, the two I know can piss off. I knew a Johanna years back with blue hair, she was nice.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy · 02/06/2018 22:00

I know two Joanna's and they are both absolute legends

fairgame84 · 02/06/2018 22:02

I know one that was born in 1964 and she's a bit of a nightmare.

Cockney rhyming slang for piano. I know. It doesn't look like it rhymes.

PeanutButterLips · 02/06/2018 23:16

My best friend is a Joanna but born in 1990! She's great

Storm4star · 02/06/2018 23:18

Sorry, I had a Joanna as a boss and she was a nightmare!

AmazingPostVoices · 02/06/2018 23:19

Perhaps the one I know is the exception that proves the rule... Sad
