They’re especially wonderful if they were born in 1969 Grin

applesandpears56 · 02/06/2018 23:28

Yes yes - all Joanna’s I’ve known are brill

condepetie · 02/06/2018 23:29

All the Joannas I've ever known were in high school in the mid-2000s and they all bullied me. Can't say I've met an adult Joanna but I can't feel warm toward the name...

Whitelisbon · 02/06/2018 23:29

I don't think I've ever met a Joanna Confused

TemptressofWaikiki · 02/06/2018 23:31

Nope, my ex neighbour was called Joanna and was a complete shitgibbon.

UrsulaPandress · 02/06/2018 23:31

Nope. The one I know is, erm, ok.

NotTheMrMenAgain · 02/06/2018 23:34

The one at work is quite whiney and annoying....

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/06/2018 23:34

The Joanna i know was born in the 1990's and is an utterly wonderful person. Smart, funny, loyal and hardworking.

Dancingtothebeat · 02/06/2018 23:36

Joanna the Mad wouldn’t let her husband (Philip the Fair) be buried. She just took his coffin around everywhere peeping at it every so often.

But she was strictly a Juana. And probably not even mad, just accused of it by her husband/sons who wanted to rule bits of Spain which were rightfully hers.

MovingThisYearHopefully · 02/06/2018 23:38

Err NO! I have a relative who is a Joanna & she's a nasty lying bitch who is a terrible parent to her kids & thinks its ok to rip off elderly relatives! Total SCUM! Angry

Camomila · 02/06/2018 23:45

I used to go to an adult ballet class with a lovely Joanna (probably born early 80s or late 70s), she was doing a PhD in something ecology related and had really bad hay fever that the dr had told her to drop out.
She stopped doing ballet after a while and I’ve always wondered if she managed to finish her studies.

UnderthePalms · 02/06/2018 23:50

Dd's form tutor = great
Joanna Denehy the serial killer = not so much

Queenoftheblitz · 02/06/2018 23:54

Two of my friends are called Joanna and both are wonderful.
One of them I call "a lass unparalled".

hadenough · 02/06/2018 23:56

I can't stand that Joanna Lumley woman.

AgathaRaisonDetra · 02/06/2018 23:59

I think Agatha is a much better name.

Sommelierrrr · 03/06/2018 00:05

The one i know is a megatwat.

madhamsters · 03/06/2018 00:13

My sister is Joanna and was born in 1969 - she's ace!

honeylulu · 03/06/2018 00:14

Husband's ex wife is a Joanna. And a Cunt.

IslaBoots · 03/06/2018 00:14

I know a Joanne who I went to school with. She was nothing more than a bully.

I also know 2 Joannas. Neither will appear on a billboard as the caring type. One is my sil. Rotten to the core. The other is my neighbour. A loud, crass, unpopular girl who thinks she's all that. She's not! 😏

NumbersLetters · 03/06/2018 00:18

Delighted to have learned the term 'shitgibbon' tonight. My mate are school was Joanna. Gentle, wise soul. Born in 1965. I've a lovely helpful funny colleague who's Jo, I have never wondered what the full version is. Etb 1978.

Yippeeeeee · 03/06/2018 00:57

Worked with one. Total. Nightmare.

snufflehuff · 03/06/2018 01:09

No, the biggest bullying bitch I've ever known was a Joanna. God she was an awful person.

snufflehuff · 03/06/2018 01:10

The one I knew was born in 1984.
Evil cow.

InkSnail · 03/06/2018 01:37

I knew an insincere one and a slightly pretentious one. I know a lovely Joanne though.

imweirdandcool · 03/06/2018 04:01

Never met a Joanna I liked they have always been quiet and annoying
(Not saying you're just what I have come across)
