What's to like about them? They look like chocolate but don't taste like chocolate, they are dry, rubbish for dunking. I don't get it.

Lol at "custard fucking creams" Grin

I've never been a big fan of any sandwich cream biscuit (except Lidl's knockoff BNs with the sexy pirate on the wrapper) but I haven't touched an Oreo since seeing the admittedly probably fake hence this link Oreo spider image. So that's very helpful when the DC like biscuits and I am fat.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 30/05/2018 22:19

I'm glad someone's mentioned this. They don't taste of chocolate at all. Frankly they're pointless.
Even the adverts advise dipping them in milk because otherwise they're crumbly bits of black dusty stuff.

TheVanguardSix · 30/05/2018 22:19

No pretending here.

I love 'em!

I'll give you vile: pink n whites.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 30/05/2018 22:21

Urgh MrsH no wonder Oreos taste nasty and a bit crunchy Grin

Unfinishedkitchen · 30/05/2018 22:26

I agree. They are rank and taste like chemicals.

FriendlyOcelot · 30/05/2018 22:27

I always find them v disappointing. Give me a Hob Nob or a Chocolate Digestive any day!

MipMipMip · 30/05/2018 23:21

six!! Shock

dontgobaconmyheart · 30/05/2018 23:28

YANBU OP- I have been saying this for YEARS. They taste of nothing but disappointment. Why is it even brown if it's not chocolate, what is the point of the lie? also why are people dipping them in milk, it tastes of nothing and adds nothing. They suck and I have no idea why or how they became 'cool' , but i definitely remember the kids asking to get them in because they were, and asking for glasses of milk ( that they don't usually like) so they can re-enact the advert. God help us.

Raulingtons · 30/05/2018 23:29

They remind me of dog charcoal biscuits. Vile things.

Chocolate hobnobs for me please.

ProudThrilledHappy · 30/05/2018 23:35

YABU oreos are lovely. Also they should always be dunked in milk first, it is transformative and renders them far more delicious!

morningperson · 30/05/2018 23:42

urgh i dont like them. both my daughters love them. Even have those rank Oreo Crushems from KFC. i had a swig of one once and nearly choked to death! Crumbs in a milkshake?! err No.

TarragonChicken · 30/05/2018 23:45

They're vile. But then I don't like bourbons very much either.

Noqont · 30/05/2018 23:46

They are horrible. But the kids love them.

Lockheart · 30/05/2018 23:48

YABU - they’re delicious. I’ve never met a biscuit I didn’t like Grin plain / sandwich / chocolate / wafer / British / American, don’t care, just keep serving them!

WhatShalliCallMyselfToday · 30/05/2018 23:49

Absolutely disgusting

Sunshineboo · 30/05/2018 23:51

Oreo McFlurrys are dreamy however...

RyvitaBrevis · 30/05/2018 23:55

YABU. I genuinely like them. Tastes differ, shockingly.

Ellendegeneres · 31/05/2018 00:01

Yabvu and have made me hungry at almost midnight thereby making me go on hunt for a snack. Couldn’t find Oreos damn ds must have eaten them all again so ended up eating shit that’s even more unhealthy. My lack of willpower is blamed on op tonight!

Dixiestampsagain · 31/05/2018 00:04

I think they’re pointless but the kids seem to like them.

Johnnycomelately1 · 31/05/2018 00:04

Not a fan but I also hate custard creams and bourbons. They all just taste of "sweet" with no actual flavour.

SoleBizzz · 31/05/2018 00:17

YANBU vile cardboard tasteless things. I never buy them

Slinkymalinky1 · 31/05/2018 00:19

Horrible biscuits! Someone at work made an Oreo cheesecake! How disappointing, I love cheesecake, but not with bits of bloody Oreo in it Confused

hellokittymania · 31/05/2018 00:33

Hey! Oreos are not fail! Foul! Haven't you ever tried the ones with mint, peanut butter, orange feeling? They even had a pumpkin one spice. Sorry pumpkin spice one. Delicious! I'm sorry, I'm using dictation.

UnsalariedPost · 31/05/2018 02:01

Halebeke425

I'm craving gingernuts. There are none in the house.
I might have to dial 111.

Johnnycomelately1 · 31/05/2018 04:04

Yes- my favourite biscuits are ginger or citrus flavoured. Same with cake actually. Although I do like a really good Victoria sponge.
