What's to like about them? They look like chocolate but don't taste like chocolate, they are dry, rubbish for dunking. I don't get it.

I like the golden Oreos, they're a bit like custard creams!

vincettenoir · 30/05/2018 20:47

YNBU. I’m glad somebody said it

shinycat · 30/05/2018 20:47

Not a fan either. Young folk seem to like them more. (like people under 25.) Not sure why.

I don't loathe them, and would eat them if someone gave me one, but I wouldn't buy them.

HOWEVER, I DO very much like the Cadbury's choc bar with Oreo in it. Please do try one; they are BEAUTIFUL. Grin

They are absolutely rank. If presented with Oreos, or a pack of value bourbon cream biscuits... I'd have a bourbon to go with my cuppa.

And as for the ones in a Cadbury bar... Envy

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 30/05/2018 20:51

I thought I was alone in my dislike of Oreos. Urgh.

Dont even get me started on Hersheys. I'm pretty sure its just solidified vomit that pretends to be chocolate.

Mountainsoutofmolehills · 30/05/2018 20:51

MAybe they like them, but i don't. they are the cheapest cookies made from crap, they want the vegans to love them, they are offered so much. Another nasty bit of american culture.......

Caribou58 · 30/05/2018 20:53

Nasty, nasty things. There are many, much better biscuits.

toolazytothinkofausername · 30/05/2018 20:53

YANBU! Pass me a bourbon biscuit instead any day!

melodybirds · 30/05/2018 20:54

Ynbu.

LegallyBronde · 30/05/2018 20:55

YANBU. I consider myself a bit of a biscuit connesoir and Oreos are rank. Tasteless biscuit which is sometimes dry or soggy?!? The cream is gritty and again tasteless.

I don't like Hersheys either. Another disappointment. Sad

grasspigeons · 30/05/2018 20:56

they make my throat itch like a minor allergy, but none of the ingredients listed are ones I am allergic too.

but now I know they are actually soil and Vaseline it makes sense.

WyldDucks · 30/05/2018 20:56

Thank god, I hate them too and they're so messy!

I do like the cream in the middle but I find a custard cream more than adequate 😎

TheShapeOfEwe · 30/05/2018 20:57

YABU, they're delicious! I like that they're crunchy and not overly sweet

bokkleorandoove · 30/05/2018 20:58

Chocolate covered oreos are my favourite. I have no interest in ordinary oreos though.

Faez · 30/05/2018 20:59

I loved them as a kid, can't see it now

greenlavender · 30/05/2018 21:01

I've met my people. Horrible things.

shinycat · 30/05/2018 21:02

No no no the Cadbury's bar with Oreo in are LOVELY.

And I am not a fan of Oreo.

Do try one. Smile

shinycat · 30/05/2018 21:03

At least try one, and see what you think ...

I don't work for Cadbury's by the way........ Grin

The3 · 30/05/2018 21:04

Yuck. They are like cakes of soot with sugary lard in between

shinycat · 30/05/2018 21:06

@The3 LOL. Grin

ElizabethG81 · 30/05/2018 21:07

Milk chocolate covered Oreos are AMAZING, and never available to buy in this country.

The normal ones are not worth it.

BlooBagoo · 30/05/2018 21:08

Our Poundland had the chocolate covered Oreos recently, have to admit they're not as bad but I still left most of them for the kids.

I don't eat them any more (gluten) but I used to love the Double Stuf Oreos. Discovered them 20 odd years ago when I lived in North America, don't think you could get them here then.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 30/05/2018 21:10

DD loves them. It wouldn't occur to her to lie about liking a biscuit.
