Would you eat this?

Mcdonalds standard cheeseburger was left out overnight, not in the fridge. Would you eat it this morning?

OP posts:
Lethaldrizzle · 23/05/2018 10:34

Yes

Phosphorus · 23/05/2018 10:38

I'd have eaten it cold.

Wdigin2this · 23/05/2018 10:41

I wouldn't eat it if it was freshly served on a golden platter!

GinIsIn · 23/05/2018 10:49

You couldn’t pay me to eat a fresh one, so no!

rickandmorts · 23/05/2018 10:50

Many a time have I eaten a cold cheeseburger or some nuggets in the morning that I've been too drunk to eat the night before Grin

rickandmorts · 23/05/2018 10:51

Also lol at all these people making out like they'd rather die than lowering themselves to eating a cold mcds Grin. I will literally eat anything, my favourite is cold curry or Chinese for brekkie!

ZeroFuchsGiven · 23/05/2018 10:56

Yes, leave in the wrapper whilst warming and they are as good as when first bought.

The nearest mcdonald's to me is an hour away so I very rarely go but when i do I always buy an extra cheeseburger for the next day and reheat it. Not died yet Grin

PunxsutawneyHogwash · 23/05/2018 10:58

Yes. I would have put a few tablespoons of water over it to help it be moist before microwaving to hot hot temp.

Emmasmum2013 · 23/05/2018 10:58

Go for it. I'd eat it cold though. Don't think heating it up would do it any favours.

Don't see the point of all the people commenting who don't even like them or don't eat meat in the first place... not very helpful input is it? Hmm Confused

QuackPorridgeBacon · 23/05/2018 10:59

I’m sure it’s fine but I’d be like you and want to heat it up and then it would just taste nasty anyway. A burger that has sat and gone cold the same day I could probably just eat cold, doesn’t seem as cold if it’s only a few hours lol or if my kid leaves the burger to go cold and then doesn’t eat it I can handle that.

QuestionableMouse I didn’t know they had mustard on them.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 23/05/2018 11:01

rickandmorts I used to be a fan of Chinese for breakfast, but never cold. How the flip do you manage to eat a cold Chinese... I won’t reheat rice now though.

MizCracker · 23/05/2018 11:03

I bloody love McDonalds.

A cold double cheeseburger is a wasted double cheeseburger, IMO.

BlankTimes · 23/05/2018 11:04

Here you go OP

BlankTimes · 23/05/2018 11:04

Try again,

DramaAlpaca · 23/05/2018 11:05

If it had been left out of the fridge, definitely not.

In the fridge, I'd have given it a go.

viques · 23/05/2018 11:07

No, it could have been touched by a spider, or even worse a fly, like my supper the other night, one bite in, got up to get a drink, came back and there was a fly on the plate , didn't know what it had landed on so the lot went in the bin. Sad

It was a lovely supper too....

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/05/2018 11:10

From a food hygiene POV yes.

From a self-respect POV it's got to be a no.

Lweji · 23/05/2018 11:10

Sure. Aren't these the burgers that are left in jars for months and don't decompose?
Grin

More seriously, most food doesn't rot overnight and it's fine to eat. I do it all the time and only put in fridge in the morning when it has cooled down. It lasts a long time in the fridge too, so I know it's fine.

Would you eat this?
Lweji · 23/05/2018 11:11

@viques

It wouldn't have killed you or even harm you in any way. What a waste of food.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/05/2018 11:12

(And I say that as someone who bloody loves a Big Mac with a cheeseburger side when the occasion arises)

Waitingonasmiley42 · 23/05/2018 11:12

I have and enjoyed it too.Blush

viques · 23/05/2018 11:17

Well, it was my food to eat or waste as I wanted. You clearly don't have much understanding of how flies live. I don't really want a creature that has walked on dog shit and which eats by vomiting up its stomach contents to start the digestive process for new food, landing on my supper.

Send me your address, next time I'll give you first dibs.Smile

BlueJava · 23/05/2018 11:18

No. It would need to have been kept in the fridge for me to even consider it.
