Would you eat this?

Mcdonalds standard cheeseburger was left out overnight, not in the fridge. Would you eat it this morning?

You clearly don't have much understanding of how flies live.

That is particularly funny in many ways.

StaplesCorner · 23/05/2018 11:48

No, but I would want to.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 23/05/2018 11:52

Lweji Aren’t flies landing on food dangerous? Don’t they vomit on the food pretty quickly.

StealthPolarBear · 23/05/2018 11:55

I always though flies were a particular food hygiene issue

Namechangemum100 · 23/05/2018 11:59

Definitely not, sounds revolting and sweaty 🤮

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/05/2018 12:08

If you live rurally and ever open your door or windows in summer you'd never eat a bloody thing if you were worried about flies.

We've yet to contract plague.

Tinkobell · 23/05/2018 13:11

No I'm gluten allergic

RaininSummer · 23/05/2018 13:17

I am more worried about the fact that a person has no food in the house other than last night's take away burger.

Lweji · 23/05/2018 14:13

One fly is not more dangerous than anything else the food touches.
Many flies over a long period on the food is a bit different.

bsbabas · 23/05/2018 14:48

There would never be left over McDonalds at my house

NotUmbongoUnchained · 23/05/2018 14:50

No

But I regularly snog a man who I’ve watched pull a kebab out of the bin from the night before and eat for breakfast.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 23/05/2018 15:15

Also lol at all these people making out like they'd rather die than lowering themselves to eating a cold mcds

I don't see anyone doing that. A few people have said they don't like it. That's it. You've invented a dramatic 'rather die than lowering themselves' in order to 'lol' at other posters.

People don't like the same stuff. Shocker.

Funkyslippers · 23/05/2018 15:22

@viques The McD's I assume was left wrapped

MrsDilber · 23/05/2018 15:36

I don't think it would harm you.

I don't think I could eat a burger in the morning if it were fresh, the pickle would put me off 😂

viques · 23/05/2018 16:05

@funkyslippers. I dunno, I'm " fly on supper plate " not "left over burger".

Smile
QuackPorridgeBacon · 23/05/2018 16:36

Lweji Oh, I’ve been misled then. If a fly lands on my plate as I’m walking into the room and spot it, I won’t eat the food for fear of the vomit.

NotUmbongoUnchained I hope he at least brushes his teeth between kebab dives before you kiss him...

Lweji · 23/05/2018 16:40

If you're already eating McDs, flies should be the least of your worries, anyway. Wink

It IS true that flies eat by vomiting their stomach contents. But it's a tiny, tiny amount. One fly won't spoil it.
Your bare hands on your hamburger probably carry more bacteria.

NotUmbongoUnchained · 23/05/2018 16:41

quack I couldn’t even look at him for about a week let alone kiss him 😂

QuackPorridgeBacon · 23/05/2018 17:11

NotUmbongoUnchained Phew 😅 that’s good to hear 😂

QuackPorridgeBacon · 23/05/2018 17:12

Lweji Good points. I’ll try not to worry as much from now on. I probably still will with the younger child but she doesn’t eat anyway so it’s all good lol
