Sorry for using aibu. I need some advice, I don't have a GP at the moment and I'm wondering if this can wait until I can register when we've moved?

My period is so heavy, I've got pain in my abdomen, thighs and shoulder. I'm definitely not pregnant as I did a test last week but so far today I've saturated a cheap reusable pad, to my clothes, had to buy new underwear and jeans and i bought 3 packs of normal pads. I've saturated 4 night time pads since 4pm today, I had to come home from our lovely night out early as I just felt so Unclean and in a lot of discomfort.

Iv had a bath and that usually stops the bleeding for a bit but it didn't this time and when I got in it looked like a massacre!

Aibu? Should I just ride it out and see if I can register with a GP ASAP or does this need something sooner than next period?

Thanks

It's also possible that you're having a miscarriage but it was so very early in the pregnancy that the test was a false negative. We in fact do not know the exact number of miscarriages because some of them happen so very early that the woman didn't even know she was pregnant.

I hope everything goes okay.

Hello. So I had surgery last night, I had an ectopic pregnancy and my tube had ruptured, I also had to have lots of blood products and it was an open operation so it was very bad.

I feel absolutely horrid this morning but I would have died if I'd stayed at home, it ruptured in A&E and omg the pain!
Thank you all for you advice and support

Holy crap that's so so scary @fattygettingthin I'm so sorry you had to experience this but VERY glad you are okay and got to the hospital/had help.

I hope you recover well and feel better very very soon, must have been such a shock and scary experience for you. x

So glad you posted here for advice, sorry you had such a nightmare!
You were very lucky by the sounds of it.

myrtleWilson · 22/05/2018 11:53

Oh my, am so sorry to hear you went through all that but am relieved you were in hospital and yay for 111 insisting on an ambulance. Please do both of you look after yourselves as it's very possible that stress/shock (emotional if not physical) could set in later Flowers

Gileswithachainsaw · 22/05/2018 11:54
