Lol’ing at the idea of a SWAT team in a delivery room. goodbye you are bonkers.

mostdays · 21/05/2018 12:34

Apparently 2 billion people watched. Of course those who want to get rid of the RF - for what? King Blair, Queen Teresa? Or some one like Yunker or god forbid Corbyn and Mcdonnell?

Yes, yes, because those are our only options Hmm.

derxa · 21/05/2018 12:47

Yes, yes, because those are our only options But who would you have?

goodbyestranger · 21/05/2018 13:05

Oh well you were moaning about my attitude to pregnant women or something. The internet doesn't come into it 402, you seem to think I've picked up gossip on the internet which I haven't. I'm not over invested - just replying to 402.

I had a PPH ten days later so the SWAT team came into ER. I was in California at the time. Hardly bonkers Confused.

Anyhow, I'm adamant and I'll stay adamant but I think 402 we should stop digressing about your/ her hg, even though I led the digression.

C8H10N4O2 · 21/05/2018 13:38

Nope, "ger", I was objecting to you stating someone was lying about having HG with zero evidence. You thereby repeat the common trope that women lie, and women lie about pregnancy symptoms.

That wasn't a digression it was the continuing line of argument after your post from goodbyestranger Sun 20-May-18 21:16:57 during which you made a number of inaccurate claims about HG, its nature and its diagnosis.

But you keep on trucking and just inventing stuff. It obviously keeps you happy.

Gwlondon · 21/05/2018 13:41

They might have been trying not to cry! I was trying not to cry at home.

biscuitraider · 21/05/2018 15:16

The Queen is still going in her 90's. How many of us will be doing that

Probably those of us who have access to the best health care going, never have to wait to see a doctor, no waiting for scans or ops etc. Combine that with the best quality healthy food, servants, no money worries, never had to do physical work.....in other words, a lifetime of privilege and cosseting, not hard to figure out is it.

This is always the answer trotted out. I think the Queen is bloody remarkable for her age. So many people at that age suffer from dementia but she is as sharp as a tack. Having said that she did look more doddery on Saturday and not very happy. God bless her.

pallisers · 21/05/2018 15:37

The definition of PPH is that it happens within 24 hours of delivery. I know because, unlike you, I had one.

RoseWhiteTips · 21/05/2018 15:57

Gwlondon

They might have been trying not to cry!

Doubt that. They appeared to be cringing.

SamanthaBrique · 21/05/2018 16:27

Your ability to read the royals' minds continues to astound me Rose.

RoseWhiteTips · 21/05/2018 16:39

Cringing is visible in body language. Simple.

Yes it's trotted out because comments like the queen is remarkable for her age" is always trotted out. Of course many people that age suffer from dementia, a lot don't either. But it's thought that a lot of dementia cases are because of poor life style and extreme stress.....all things the queen has never suffered from.

It is fact that people who have led an affluent life fare better in old age than people from poor backgrounds. The queens stamina and good health is testament to the lifestyle she's led. Most women her age can barely walk, the consequences of a life time of toil and money worries imo.

IrianOfW · 21/05/2018 17:07

What were they supposed to be doing? Staring with dopey grins on their faces and eyes welling with tears? Why? To satisfy the mawkish demands of complete strangers?.

I loved the sermon but he did go on a bit! Far too long for a wedding. And while I wouldn't have laughed it was funny in it's incongruity in the circumstances.

I don't normally bother with all this stuff but I was ill and enjoying watching something pretty and uncomplicated on the TV. I thought it was really lovely and I don't see why it all has to be picked apart to find insignificant details of the Royal families supposedly off behaviour. Very strange,

Well the longest living people seem to be Sardinian shepherds who I would suggest have done a lot of toil.

Not just the wealthy who stay able and active in their 90s. A lot is genes too I think.

Three of my grandparents are still doing well in their early 90s. All three can get about in varying degrees, despite general old age conditions such as arthritis. Two still drive, safely too and without accidents or incidents. My grandma goes dancing at least once a week and is out and about most days. All three are/we're hardworking 'working class' and now live on relative small pensions.m, albeit my grandad has one go his work from years ago. One was a single parent for much of her 7 childrens' lives, not great areas for living, worked part time jobs to get by, state pension, sheltered council housing, relies on standard nhs, etc.

One thing money can't buy you is your general health or cures for nasty illnesses. Some of it is luck and some is genes too. Not everything can be attributed to having access to private medical care and a lot of money.

Thinkingofausername1 · 21/05/2018 17:13

I'm wondering if they had some bad news that day, as I thought it wasn't like them to look miserable.

Bluelady · 21/05/2018 17:14

The Queen's stamina and good health is testament to the amazing genes she inherited from her mother. My parents lived into their late 90s, in fact my dad missed 100 by months. No life time of privilege for someone born into a mining community in the north east.

caperberries · 21/05/2018 19:53

The queen certainly seemed much happier at Chelsea today than at the wedding

derxa · 21/05/2018 19:57

The Queen really doesn't like Meghan and I don't blame her.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 21/05/2018 19:58

The Queen was not impressed; Kate looked tight lipped at times. I saw little approval

RWT, we know that you would love to think that the queen agrees with everything you say about Meghan and that you think every single quirk or expression is nailed on proof that the entire royal family hate Meghan, but it's just not true.

It's not. They don't.

But you know what? Even if every single member of the royal family thought that Meghan was a complete catastrophe, it doesn't matter. Not one bit. She still had that amazing wedding day, she looked absolutely beautiful, and she is married to Prince Harry and is now a duchess. She will endeavour to do her job and she'll very likely win love and respect for it.

She will now bed down within the family, let them get to know her and forge friendships and relationships within it. It's just the beginning of her life as a royal, and every sign is that the royal family is delighted to welcome her.

Your bitterness towards her is bizarre. Don't like her? Fine, whatever. Projecting to the extent that you keep posting on what complete strangers are thinking about her? Crosses a line and starts to sound a bit...odd.

Shockers · 21/05/2018 20:15

On what evidence do you base your statement, derxa?

goodbyestranger · 21/05/2018 20:21

pallisers you are a weirdo. PPHs happen well after delivery. For some reason I appear prone to them and had PPHs during my subsequent deliveries although those PPHs were nothing like as spectacular, in that I didn't need a transfusion requiring so much blood the hospital ran out of my blood type and had to use a substitute instead. My PPH was ten days later and happened in the middle of the night. I think they're called delayed PPHs but they most certainly are not restricted to the delivery room or indeed the couple of hours afterwards. Equally the team in the US military hospital was called the SWAT team whether the previous silly poster likes it or not. Maybe read on on these problems before posting again.

AntiqueSinger · 21/05/2018 20:22

I too, would like to know where the evidence is for this derxa
