Hello .. thoughts please
My husband went out on a colleagues leaving do last night . He came home around 12 . This morning whilst doing laundry I noticed the jeans he wore out last night had quite a bit of blood in the seat area . I haven’t asked him about it

Absolutely fine ( more cheerful than usual if anything )
This has happened before ( blood ) on a few occasions .we have been together 26 years

Have you ever suspected he could be gay, is that what you are scared of?

boatass · 19/05/2018 16:03

What do gays shit blood @birdsgottafly?

Melissa74 · 19/05/2018 16:03

How so boatass?

X post.

You need to speak to him, especially if he's the type of man who ignores health warnibgs.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 19/05/2018 16:05

We can't tell you why he's bleeding. It doesn't sound like you feel you can ask, either? So really, you're a bit stuck.

The only real reassurance that we can offer is that if it's happened before, it might be something he is aware of and is treating and therefore is not that bad, health-wise.

Birdsgottafly · 19/05/2018 16:06

Boatass, no they don't, but anyone could be taken advantage of, or have a bit of rough sex and bleed.

I made the connection because the OP said she was scared of the answer and they haven't much of a marriage.

Melissa74 · 19/05/2018 16:06

He very much is that type ... doesn’t do emotions , very practical but useless emotionally

My best mate realised that his boyfriend was cheating on him when he came home from a night out with a bleeding bottom.

It happened twice, he confronted him both times and his boyfriend admitted it the second time and my friend finished with him.

RebelRogue · 19/05/2018 16:07

Why are u afraid to ask him? What are your suspicions?

eddielizzard · 19/05/2018 16:09

how much blood? spots or soaked?

Melissa74 · 19/05/2018 16:11

Hard to explain but I really don’t feel like I can discuss it with him .
Lost my father to colon cancer so I’m very aware of signs &symptoms .
I think my hubby would go to doctors if he was worried about anything... just wouldn’t discuss with me

Not soaked ... 3 large spots that had soaked through to other side

Well you're going to have to discuss it with him if you want to find out what's going on as we can't tell.

Momo18 · 19/05/2018 16:16

Has he got piles? My friend had this happen from piles.

Roomarmoset · 19/05/2018 16:17

Unfortunately I'm not sure you're going to have an answer unless you ask him. I know it's hard given previous history with your father but surely it's better to know than to worry?

AnyFucker · 19/05/2018 16:18

What is the point if this thread ?

Tiddlywinks63 · 19/05/2018 16:18

Seems very odd to me that you can't ask him, even if the relationship isn't particularly close.

butidontwannausemyhead · 19/05/2018 16:19

My dad used to have this problem from piles, it was because he was overweight. He didn't dare to out to public places for a while incase it happened unexpectedly (which it had before).

pigpoglet · 19/05/2018 16:19

I use to be a dry cleaner , blood in the seat is fairly regular in men but it seems a bit weird that it's after a night out . Can you leave him a note , text him if you can't ask him maybe ?

eddielizzard · 19/05/2018 16:21

really bad piles / colon problems / rough sex. bottom line is there isn't anything you can do about it if you can't talk to him. you could leave his trousers folded inside out on his bed so the blood stain is clear. he'll know for sure, and he'll know you know. then if he wants to talk about it the path is laid.

PositiveVibez · 19/05/2018 16:22

blood in the seat is fairly regular in men

I highly doubt this, unless something is wrong.

Melissa74 · 19/05/2018 16:24

Sorry just needed to let my thoughts out of my head . I realise it’s impossible to give me any answers , there’s only one person that can do that

Nothing to add except that Blood on Husband’s Trousers is an excellent name for a metal band.

What age are these men? What do you think it is?
