Meghan's dress was lovely but lumpy looking,/ill fitting bra look

Anyone else notice how lumpy it looked at front like when you wear a bra that's two small and you have two cleavages lt spoiled it for me tbh though l think she looked stunning. I thought it might just be the light as it is quite shimmery but have noticed it in several shots /light now. A wardrobe malfunction?

when you see some of the tacky monstrosities chosen by some brides, I am not surprised Meghan classic stunning dress is not everybody's choice. Less is more, it was an impressive gown and it suited her perfectly.

TatianaLarina · 19/05/2018 16:20

I don't really get the ill-fitting thing

People seem to be confusing well fitting and tight.

It wasn’t skin tight.

LetsGoBitches · 19/05/2018 16:21

Her bra was a strapless Eve number and it didn’t fit. It looked like it had drooped her boobs down.

The dress was ok I thought, bit loose around the arms and torso, but who doesn’t drop a few pounds before a wedding, even a second one.

Meghan doesn’t have a great shape, rather boxy around the waist, so I thought the bateau top and A-line flare suited her very well as it narrowed in around her middle to give the illusion of her waist.
The veil was beautiful.

I do wonder if she has body dysmorphia as her clothes are all quite over sized and ‘protective’ in style. She swims in them.

If you look at their hands she has the classic bulimic’s knuckles. Enlarged and scarred. Veneers too. I wonder if she has an eating disorder. It would explain the stick thin legs and arms and bloated middle section.

They do say that men marry their mothers, and women marry their dads....

I also thought she might be up the duff already.

I hope they’re happy: I don’t think the Queen was happy Meghan didn’t curtsy when she came out of the registry! She looked like she’d sucked a lemon.

Meghan’s mum was looking superb.

All’s well that ends well though, so fingers crossed for Harry. He deserves to be happy. I hope she’s not too old to have kids with him.

TheFairyCaravan · 19/05/2018 16:21

I thought the dress had the wow factor. The simplicity was what made it so elegant and classy. She looked absolutely stunning imo.

TatianaLarina · 19/05/2018 16:22

Bitches gets my bonkers post of the day award.

ThenCameTheFools · 19/05/2018 16:23

Of the decade, I'd say.

Apt username though.

TatianaLarina · 19/05/2018 16:24

Yep.

mydogisthebest · 19/05/2018 16:25

ikeepaforkinmypurse, couldn't agree more about some wedding dresses being tacky. I have seen some pretty horrendous ones. I prefer sleek and elegant personally and not keen on strapless ones really

SayImADreamer · 19/05/2018 16:26

@LetsGoBitches
I think shes just an apple

ThenCameTheFools · 19/05/2018 16:30

Anyone playing MN Bingo with Bitches' post?

Ageist- check
Sexist- check

And when someone says a woman as slim as MM is boxy round the middle, is there any wonder so many young women are anorexic/bulimic.

Anyway...I was pleasantly surprised that the dress went classy and elegant instead of the usual "quirky British designer" style. Less is very often more, and simple neckline, covered arms, shriek class far more than any meringue, off shoulder frillazilla frock ever would. She also looked hardly made up which was lovely.

Kate looked lovely, but I always think she compromises on what she'd like to wear with what she thinks she should. I suppose as a future Queen she has much less freedom in those areas, but the whole QE2 frock coat thing is mother of the bride at its worst, unless you are, actually, the mother of the bride! She dresses a lot older than her years I think.

Did anyone spot the cut of Camilla's coat at the back, it was beautiful.

ThenCameTheFools · 19/05/2018 16:31

Princess Margaret's wedding dress was beautiful, as was Princess Anne's. Then came the meringue/Sandals generation.

theDudesmummy · 19/05/2018 16:33

The dress was fine but why did she not stick micropore over her nipples? Surely her dressmakers know that trick...

tenredthings · 19/05/2018 16:39

For an incredibly expensive dress I thought the fit was poor. I'm a dressmaker, even if she's lost a few pounds it would be possible to do last minute adjustments. Her bra looked also too small for her breasts. Perhaps it was deliberately loose because she is pregnant, would also account for bra misfit ? ! I think the fact that the public of Britain bankrolled the whole affair gives us the right to talk about these things.

AskAuntLydia · 19/05/2018 16:40

Oh FGS

She looked lovely.

LetsGoBitches · 19/05/2018 16:42

Right back at ya @thencamethefools!

FWIW she’s 36, that’s old for starting a family. According to my GP we start our perimenopause then. Not ageist, just scientific reality. You know, the facts. Science is true even if you don’t believe it. Eggs have a shelf life. 36 is old.

Butterymuffin · 19/05/2018 16:42

Thought it was a gorgeous dress, went beautifully with the ornate veil and tiara, and would have looked wrong if it was too fitted.
The 'look' might not have been about her being pregnant already, but more a 'let's get started right away'! But good luck to them if she is. They've said they want children so I hope it happens for them.

Bluelady · 19/05/2018 16:44

It was bank rolled by the Royal family. Discussion is fine, bitchiness isn't.

balsamicbarbara · 19/05/2018 16:45

Glad someone brought this up, thought I was the only one who could see her aureolas

Apileofballyhoo · 19/05/2018 16:49

I thought it was simple, elegant and classy. I liked Kate Middleton's dress but I thought the V of the lace was slightly too low to be classic. Meghan is beautiful.

flyingspaghettimonster · 19/05/2018 16:49

Sugly wedding dress, weird material choice, the bridemaids dresses were truly awful and you could buy better made on Ali express. I think I could have made a better wedding dress given a few silk table cloths from the palace... there's simple and chic, then there is frumpy and sack like. This missed the mark completely and she only pulled it off because she is stunning. Her make up was great though.

TheFairyCaravan · 19/05/2018 16:55

According to my GP we start our perimenopause then.

Absolute crap. There is no age that we start the perimenopause because we’re all fecking different.

FleurDelacoeur · 19/05/2018 16:56

I loved her dress! I loved the simplicity of it, the very plain dress with the fancy lace train. Very different to what Kate wore which was much more lacy on the dress itself, and lower cut.

She looked amazing. As did Harry in his uniform.

eggsandchips · 19/05/2018 16:58

I thought it was nice but didn't think it was overly spectacular. I did prefer Kate's wedding dress, and I thought Meghans would have been nicer.

OhTheRoses · 19/05/2018 17:01

I thought the dress, the veil, the tiara, the bride, were absolutely exquisite and smacked of style and class.

Some vile and nasty comments on here.

slowlywiltingpetal · 19/05/2018 17:01

If it cling to every ounce of her there'd be a post moaning about that. What on Earth are bulimics knuckles? If she's been nauseated it could possibly have been stress. I thought she was into super clean eating.
