Meghan's dress was lovely but lumpy looking,/ill fitting bra look

Anyone else notice how lumpy it looked at front like when you wear a bra that's two small and you have two cleavages lt spoiled it for me tbh though l think she looked stunning. I thought it might just be the light as it is quite shimmery but have noticed it in several shots /light now. A wardrobe malfunction?

She looked stunning because she's a beautiful woman.

The dress was nice but it didn't have the wow factor imo. I was expecting something more exciting.

CollyWombles · 19/05/2018 14:10

She looked absolutely beautiful, her dress was elegant and classy, the veil and train were just gorgeous. Harry has always been my favourite royal and I think they make a lovely couple.

formerbabe · 19/05/2018 14:12

In fact it was so plain and understated that it made Kate's wedding dress look racy in comparison!!

JassyRadlett · 19/05/2018 14:13

Quite refreshing to see a wedding dress that wasn’t skintight and overly fitted to within an inch of its (and the bride’s) life, tbh.

Bitlost · 19/05/2018 14:17

She looked stunning. Not many people would carry off that dress. But completely agree it didn’t have the wow factor. I think she doesn’t want to come across as an attention seeker. Initially I was disappointed but now i’m thinking “clever girl”.

BertrandRussell · 19/05/2018 14:18

I wonder if she’s pregnant. But I thought it was a spectacular dress- understated and stylish.

mydogisthebest · 19/05/2018 14:21

I thought she looked elegant and beautiful. I am not a fan of big showy wedding dresses. Kate's was ok but I prefer Meghan's.

Kate's outfit looked white on my tv and both me and DH commented on it

“Lets all just do our best to forget that preacher.”

No, let’s remember that that preacher is what constitutes a bi racial, bi cultural wedding, and let’s remember some of the politics he placed at the heart of what he said. This day may feature dresses and music and hats and parades, but the monarchy are at the heart of our constitution: Head of state. His style and length my have been a bit much, but what he had to say was the most relevant thing that happened today.

Thespringsthething · 19/05/2018 14:22

I just think the neckline needed to be higher (like a slash neck) or lower (showing more shoulder). It was inbetween which is a difficult look to carry off.

Colour-wise and the fabric and the veil all made her look wonderful and glowing and that's probably more important than the perfect fit.

Harry looked absolutely besotted with her, I think he's so glad to have her by his side, I don't love his beard but he's had it for a long time now and wasn't ever going to be clean-shaven.

QueenofmyPrinces · 19/05/2018 14:23

Her make-up and hair were stunning and her veil was absolutely beautiful.

The dress however was quite boring, it didn’t fit and I was quite disappointed.

When Wills and Kate got married I remember thinking how breathtakingly stunning Kate but I certainly didn’t get that feeling when I saw Megan.

I have heard various rumours about her already being pregnant and the dress was purposely too big to hide the bump.

StylishMummy · 19/05/2018 14:24

Boring, didn't fit and the head piece was hideous

BertrandRussell · 19/05/2018 14:27

Why would we want to forget the preacher? Unless we’re a bit......[redacted]

thatsnotmypuppy · 19/05/2018 14:27

I thought the dress was a bit boring.
It didn't fit on the arms or chest well.
The veil and her hair were nice. I guess it was her second wedding so she didn't want to be too glam. Maybe she is preggers?

Jb291 · 19/05/2018 14:29

The veil and tiara and her hair / makeup were absolutely beautiful but the dress was not great, far too plain and very ill fitting, not exactly a glowing advertisement for Givenchy.

diddl · 19/05/2018 14:29

"but it didn't have the wow factor imo."

I think that's what made it so right.

Tiara & fabulous veil-who needs a "wow factor" dress with that?

CutesyUserName · 19/05/2018 14:29

Get over yourself, BonnieF. We are describing our opinions of her dress. An opinion is a personal thing, we are not all sheeple that just have to recite 'amazing, incredible' all day long if that's not how we feel. I thought her dress was a bit too plain (for my tastes) but that she still looked lovely. If you don't like other peoples opinions cos they don't agree with yours, feck off somewhere else.

OrcinusOrca · 19/05/2018 14:31

Too loose too tight it's never going to be what 'normal' people would opt for. The royals never wear anything more than a tailored fit. I think she looked lovely. Yes her dress was plain, she clearly wanted to go all out on the veil and fair play to her. I think she looked grand. Makes me really sad how people have nothing better to do than pick at a bride's wedding dress.

happypoobum · 19/05/2018 14:32

Kate's dress is definitely yellow. You can see that better if you look at her with Charlotte who is in white.

I really liked Meghans dress and I thought the veil/tiara/train combo was spectacular. It was elegant and she looked comfortable. There was a moment in the ceremony where they exchanged a look and I did think she is already pregnant.

So what - good for her.

LynetteScavo · 19/05/2018 14:32

The neckline and fabric were perfect - understated and elegant.

The veil was very, very long though. I'm wondering how the length was decided.

Spamalotta · 19/05/2018 14:34

I agree about the fit being a bit off. I wondered watching it how much she regretted the veil. It seemed in the way and awkward throughout.

nocoolnamesleft · 19/05/2018 14:35

the head piece was hideous

The head piece was absolutely stunning. And clearly covered the "something borrowed" criteria, as those were very obviously real sparklies.

lardymclardy · 19/05/2018 14:35

I think she looked beautiful, didn't notice any lumps/bumps but wasn't looking for them.

I would have described Kate's outfit as a pale daffodil yellow, definitely wasn't cream.

thebear1 · 19/05/2018 14:36

Think I was watching a different wedding to some people, I didn't notice anything wrong about the dress just thought she looked stunning.

Bitlost · 19/05/2018 14:37

Let’s absolutely not forget what the preacher said.

Bluntness100 · 19/05/2018 14:38

Well as predicted yesterday there would be threads slagging off her dress. Didn't take long really did it. Five mins after rhe ceremony finished and the op was on here criticising it. Saddo.
