Listening now to Jo Wiley whining on about something in a very monotone voice. I've started switching on for the confession at 6:10 and then I turn off again. I REALLY CAN'T STAND HER!!!

Ditto. Loved both shows but together it's like 2 neighbours who don't know each other well spending time in the pub. Clunky and weird. I was sad tonight when they said Nigel was coming on and I realised it wasn't Nigel Nigel. Chris and Steve knob jockey silly boy crap show need to go instead!

Yep, it’s ruined my commute too....

I'm the eternal optimist. I keep tuning in, but it keeps on being crap. Jo has far too low and soft a voice for this time of show. It comes across as bland and boring. I'm going to have a bath instead and be thankful I'm not currently having to commute.

The loss of the drive time Friday request show has ruined the start of my weekend. It was my getting in the mood for the weekend marker.

And I moss the little girl saying 'hello Simon mayo' in her cute little toddler voice.

I've actively avoided her for years now, seems I'll have to continue this further into my favourite shows.

I loved both their shows individually and I really don't know why they've tried to combine them. No need at all. I'll really miss Jo's show.

How on earth is Steve Wright still on air at that time?

It is utter shite. They really don't gel. If only they'd get rid of Steve Wright as he's been regurgitating the same rubbish for years, I can't listen to his show. Used to turn back.on at 5 but not for this. Harumph!

Caught the last hour yesterday as traveling later - it was the Jo show; barely Simon at all.

I’ve never been so frustrated by a programme change.

As others have said- how can Steve Wright not have been sacrificed? Or why not make it the Jo and Steve show? That might have improved it.

Put Jo on the Steve Wright hours and leave Simon alone with his usual crew/old format.
Mind you, i am no fan of the ' serious jockin'' one and i think its time he retired.

I hate the new show too. I saw someone claiming to work for Radio 2 on Twitter yesterday. They were saying it's all a mess at the station too, apparently Simpson was offered a years salary to leave but refused so they were thrust together. Allegedly Jo has been seen crying at Wogan House with the frustration of it all.

That is one positive, I've hated that song for years and used to dream about phoning in and requesting NOT to have that godawful song every. single. week But I'm too much of a wuss and don't actually want to be on the radio...

I don't mind the change too much, although I agree, there doesn't seem to be the same chemistry. If they'd got rid of Steve Wright however, I would have not been too upset...

Yet another drive home listening to Wiley with Simon getting a word in edgeways.

And please, can they NEVER say ‘hack’ again.

I don’t like the new show either

I really like jo , I find Simon a bit rude but he's good at what he does and I used to enjoy drive time.... but now it's awful... they sound like they don't like each other. They sound like they're hating having to work together, you can hear it in their voices . I feel sorry for both of them as it wouldn't have been their choice. They're both excellent individually at what they do but just don't fit together.

It's like banoffee pie is amazing and so is chicken curry.. but eaten together would be minging!
